Decent Vegan Paella

They have a vegan paella and black bean mash dish that can be made vegan without cheese on top. We had the paella and it was pretty good. We’re happy that they have a few vegan options at this seafront location. They told us the creamy plantain soup is vegan too, so we’ll have to try it next time.

Pros: Great location on the strip in Esparanza, Friendly service , Vegan friendly

A nice option where there aren’t too many others :)

Bili is an omni restaurant but when I was there they had a Vegan Paella labeled on the menu. The servers were very nice and helped me modify an appetizer as well to make it vegan! The black bean mash is vegetarian and can be made vegan by holding the avocado cream! The vegan paella was pretty good and had lots of beans and vegetables in it making it filling as well. They also have a vegetarian gnocchi but it has cream in it and cannot be made vegan. The price point here is a little higher but if you’re looking for something vegan for dinner in Esperanza it’s a good bet!

Pros: One specifically vegan dish!, Friendly servers

Cons: Not many vegan options, A little expensive

Best appetizer my whole time in Puerto Rico!

We stumbled upon this place after asking our hotel manager what his favorite restaurants are. This place is incredible! The bartender, Collette, and Amy, another staff member, are so kind and helpful. We had such great conversation with both of them! The black bean mash appetizer can be made vegan by subbing the avocado cream for just fresh avocado. I absolutely loved it; we even got another order. I'll definitely be back on a return trip to Vieques!

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Lovely ambiance

Cons: Can be pricey

Great food and nice ambiance!

There was only one obviously vegan option, but it was delicious! A vegan paella, even labeled on the menu as vegan. There didn’t appear to be a ton other vegan stuff, the menu was pretty fish heavy, but this is one of the nicer restaurants on Calle Flamboyan and I was happy to have a delicious option. (My partner had fish, some of which I stole to give to the cat.) We also had mojitos, which were excellent.

Pros: Vegan paella was delicious, Classy ambiance , Great drinks
