Vegan Options Removed?

I think they removed all of the vegan options. I went in about a month ago and the hostess did not even know of any vegan options. I showed her a picture of the Vegan Menu that someone posted on here and she had no awareness of it. I don't think they have any vegan options anymore and may be under new management.

Cons: No Vegan Options at all.

Nah

Don’t go here as a vegan. Not worth the trouble. Not even close

Save your money Vegans!!!

Vegetarian options for sure, but the staff doesn’t have a clue of the difference between vegan and vegetarian. I had mentioned to our waitress that we were vegan and when asked about an item she said yea that’s fine it’s vegan. Then found out afterwards it was not. Don’t waste your money if you’re vegan 🌱 #Veganuary

Originally rated 4 stars…

There was a vegan special of a quesadilla with impossible meat and using follow your heart cheese. I loved that I was able to eat a quesadilla! They made it seem like they have a vegan special every week, but I am not sure about that. They had a few vegetarian dishes that could be made vegan, but no actual vegan dishes.

Edit: They changed their menu and now have 0 vegan options. They have a couple vegetarian options, but nothing all that exciting. Very disappointed.

Great place, great options, good serving sizes, short wait

I like the atmosphere of the area a lot, feels clean and modern. The staff is pretty cool and down to earth. The food is good comfort food but it is a bit pricey. The food didn't give me a wow factor but it was still good and I'll be sure to keep going back.

Pros: Clear vegan menu, Customizable options on main menu, Modern feel

Cons: A bit pricey

Getting Better!

I started going to Big Lug before I went vegan, and it was one of the hardest things to give up. However, they have really stepped up their vegan game in the last couple of months, including a vegan poutine. They also have weekly vegan specials, frequently teaming up with local veg spots like Three Carrots to provide Nashville seitan sandwiches, etc. Super excited to see them expand their vegan menu!

Pros: incredible outdoor space, everything they make is delicious, like really delicious

Cons: hidden milk/eggs in some items (buns), weekly specials don’t last long!

Great beer selection, zero vegan options...

There were lots of beers to choose from so if you like craft style beers this is the place. If you’re looking for vegan options this is NOT the place - the menu must have changed because only three burgers could be substituted with the Impossible Burger but it came on a egg “knot” bun. They put the burger on “regular” bread but despite saying “vegan and no cheese” it came delivered with cheese. Disappointing.

Pros: Lots of craft style beers

Cons: Zero vegan options

Also they add eggs TO their impossible burger but neglect to say that on the menu. Buffalo cauliflower wings are also not vegan nor is really anything else that seems like it could be. When I go I can either get fries, the Hoss dip without cheese, or a sad salad. Awesome drinks and patio so it sucks they aren't willing to improve their options at all.
