Vegan section on menu but food not great - Edit
The first item (fried aubergine) on the vegan menu included honey so we had to order without, but then the dish didn’t taste like much. They were also out of the croquetas, so the vegan items were pretty limited to raw and fried veggies (which you can get in pet much any Spanish bar). I also had the Bao, but didn’t like the taste at all. The tomatoes were super delicious, but these I probably could have gotten anywhere else too. As I was only in Ronda for a day in hindsight I would have preferred to go somewhere closer to the historic centre, where I could also have ordered the aubergine, tomato, bread, and probably a few other default vegan dishes, even if they are not necessarily labelled in the menu. But if you don’t speak Spanish it might be more difficult to ask about this.

Poor to average food with long wait times - Edit
Decent allergen information by this restaurant, which was a plus. However, my partner's croquetas arrived cold and needed to be sent back. The patatas bravas were good for me, but are not vegan friendly. I waited an age for my fried aubergine, but it arrived undercooked. In a town with few vegan and vegetarian options, we were hopeful about La Bifana but left disappointed.

Kitchen was closed so asked if they knew anywhere offering vegan and they have me directions to l'aqualia (water service office). Pretty funny, but not when you're hungry after a 9 HR journey 😁

More like a bar than a restaurant but delicious - Edit
Quite a trendy bar vibe with only tall tables and bar stools so beware if that is not what you are looking for. Very friendly staff (didn't speak English so perhaps less touristy than other places in Ronda?). I LOVED the quinoa salad. Also had the aubergines with honey, patatas bravas and goats cheese. I was with 7 meat eaters who all loved their food too.

No hay un repertorio amplísimo, pero en una ciudad como Ronda donde se lleva la carne por bandera, Bifana es un oasis. El personal, en especial la camarera del turno de mediodía, es muy amable y conoce a la perfección qué platos son veganos y cuáles son adaptables.

Die Bedienung war sehr hilfsbereit, allerdings etwas wenig motiviert. Die Croquetas waren leider aus. Der Tomatensalat war gut. Der Quinoasalat mit Gemüse und Hummus etwas fad gewürzt, und nur ein kleiner Kleks Hummus. Auf der Karte befinden sich vegan deklarierte frittierte Auberginen mit Honig (?). Angesichts der nur wenigen in Ronda vorhandenen veganen Angebote eine gute Option für einen kurzen Abstecher. Mit dem Wein können sie eher punkten - der war sehr gut!

Great salads, bowls, croquetas and other vegan options. Also a delicious vegan ajoblanco. The staff is very nice. No vegan desserts though.
