Big portions! - Edit
Delicious arepas, staff are helpful and 2 on the menu can be veganised- muy rico! I went back again as probably the best evening vegan food in Sucre. Cocktails are also huge !

Tasty arepas - Edit
Had a delicious fungi (mushroom) arepa. A reasonable size portion. Takes a while to get served and get the meal. Highly recommend as the arepa was delicious.

Good options - Edit
There are many arepas that you can choose from or veganize. I choose to get the original where I could choose 4 ingredients to fill the arepa. It was delicious, but in the bottom I noticed that they used butter and I don’t know if that was plant-based or not so that sucked a bit.

Cons: May have used butter made from ‘normal’ milk

Delicious but a bit pricy - Edit
I ordered the Fungy one as a vegan option and it was delicious. But it’s a bit pricy compared to other restaurants with vegan options in town.

Tried both the arepa and cachapa and enjoyed both! Lovely to see vegan options. Pretty large portion.

Stuffed, but not very fulfilling - Edit
Very filling arepa.
Read moreI opted for the one where you can choose 4 ingredients (beans, tomato, avocado and 'vegetales salteados').
The 'vegetales salteados' made the whole arepa taste like Chinese food. The arepa is wrapped in paper. Because the arepa is pretty stuffed, you have to watch out you the soaked paper doesn't become part of your bite.
The small cup of Coca tea is pricey (Bs 14) and comes from a tea bag, not the leaves

Bon arepas ! - Edit
Il y a plusieurs options véganes, seulement à la place d'enlever juste le fromage, le remplacer par un petit quelque chose est toujours apprécié !

Tasty arepa with a lot of filling - Edit
I think there's only one vegan option (where you don't have to ask them to remove any ingredient) which is the fungi arepa. A lot of filling, and with cilantro sauce to taste. 35bob.

Tasty vegan options! - Edit
We ordered the Pabellón Veggie (black beans) and the Prince Veggie (sautéed veggies) - just specify vegano/sin queso.
Read moreBoth were super tasty and the sauce that they provide on the side pairs super well! The Prince could’ve used a bit more love because it was mostly veggies but still tasty.
Not the cheapest dinner, but also decent serving sizes so it works out.
They also have a bomb drinks menu!

Bon et généreux - Edit
On s’est régalé. Accueil sympa et les portions sont généreuses. Ils adaptent les frites au fromages sans viande et en baissant un peu le prix de la carte.

Great arepas - Edit
We really missed arepas, so it is great to find a place where you can have a proper one made by Venezuelans. Pro tip for vegans is to ask for the pata pata without cheese but with platano instead. That way you get a fully vegan arepa where you don't just have to remove something and get a less complete meal. They say their cachapas are vegan as well but they came with some white liquid on top, which we suspect is milk. The cachapa is too sweet for our tastes anyway, we would always go with the arepa.

Good vegan arepas! - Edit
This restaurant offers arepas that can be made vegan. We ordered the Pabellon veggie arepa which comes with black beans, avocado, and fried plantain. Make sure to remove the cheese to make it vegan. We also ordered the Prince veggie arepa which comes with sautéed vegetables, avocado and tomato. Again ask for no cheese. Both delicious!
