Tasty tea & cake - Edit
Amazing tea assortment and always vegan cake available. The staff is super nice and helpful with any questions about allergies or dietary restrictions.

We came from their other branch in Alysham in the same day, so didn’t eat here. I popped in out of curiosity to see if this was better. They had about two vegan cake options and no scones ( I asked), so you probably need to book in advance to be sure of a vegan afternoon tea. I have given three stars as it seemed fair considering the other reviews, but I cannot comment on the quality of food.

Went to this tea room with some omnivore friends.

The woman serving us gave me a run down of the numerous vegan options and I went for the vegan cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches and the vegan scone with vegan spread and jam. It was all delicious. They have loads of varieties of tea to choose from including lots of herbal teas and you can choose to make yourself a novel mixture with the blends they have if you like. They have non-dairy milks if you like milk in your tea.
It was a busy Saturday afternoon but service was prompt and attentive. I am planning to take some more vegan friends next time they are in town.

strange place, strange smell - Edit
went here for coffee and cake but as it’s a tea room they don’t make coffee other than filter, like back in the 80s. the cakes were a bit dry, the decor strange and the service confusing. on top of that it just smelt a bit strange.

On Saturdays they get a fresh cake from Deerly Beloved (a vegan bakery in Norwich). We enjoy going to Biddys to get a slice of the cake.
