Vegan backpacker

Honestly become so perplexed by places like this based on the reviews. I'd love to meet all of these people lol. This place vaguely caters to vegan. The menu is so odd, listing chicken and fish items on the vegan section. Like others you may be turned away at random times as they don't post any set hours and close at will. We were turned away at 3pm with the restaurant full of people.
Now for the food: ordered the eggplant/pesto sandwich based on the last reviewer. They nicely offered avocado due to the fact I didn't want cheese (awesome), what came out though was a grease pit of oiled up eggplant inside of homemade bread which only made the bread soak up the oil even more creating a oily grease ball that you just want to stuff done to get it over with. Also had creamy noodle soup that was pretty good which saved this from getting one star.
Price: ridiculously crazy compared other places down the street. I feel like you're just paying for the popularity of this place from TripAdvisor. Fine; I'm just being bitter I spent triple the amount I normally would for something that should have been alot better.

Pros: Honestly can't think of one.

Cons: Price, price, and price for value. Hours not set.

Fresh baked sandwich bread!

Tried to come twice and was turned away but got lucky on my third try. Glad I went back. Cute place and yummy fresh food. The iced lemon tea was served with pineapple and orange and was very refreshing on a hot afternoon. I had the veg sandwich without cheese. The pesto does not have cheese in it. The owner came to chat while I was eating and let me know they baked the bread with matcha powder.

Ok

Ordered Burmese vege curry, was ok nothing special. Complimentary tomato salad was amazing. I think it is a lottery when it comes to vegan options.

Delicious fresh healthy food

We ate here a few times during our stay as we loved the friendliness of the staff who worked here as well as the healthy food. Definitely recommend the guac and poppadoms and the chickpea salad was very tasty. We also loved the fresh cold juices - perfect for an afternoon away from the sun! They have a separate section marked “vegan” as well as special boards. They seem pretty flexible to adapt any other dishes to vegan too. Also excellent WiFi. A must visit :)

Pros: Vegan options, Good WiFi, Nice staff

Cons: Not vegan - serves meat

Loved it!

The owner is so sweet and super accommodating for vegans. Went twice during my stay and one time had the veggie curry (partner had the veggie bean burger) and second time fresh spring rolls and phad thai. They also have an happy hour for coctails which then are like $2 per coctail. Nice atmosphere, definitely worth a visit when in this part of town.
