Happy find - Edit
We liked how it was omnivore/vego friendly.
Read moreWould have been great to see at least 1 dish that was Vietnamese fusion ( not on dinner menu). Service was brilliant and very friendly.
They have a bar here with brilliant signature cocktails....so we would definitely recommend even just a cocktail here.
Over all it was a happy find thanks to Happy Cow 🙂👍
Pros: Good for couples who are ominvore/vego, Great service, Yummy signature cocktails
Cons: No Vietnamese fusion found on menu, A bit hit and miss on menu, A little to western on menu

Vegan Journey - Edit
We cycled here from down town De Lat it was easy to find.
Read moreThe greating and atmosphere was great, very chilled place with great decor.
Not much choice on the menu for hungry vegans on their journey.
Expensive for Vietnam and service charge was added.
A complimentary tea or water and some bread with our salad may have softened the blow.....but if you don't go you will never know..,!
Pros: Nice ambience
Cons: Expensive Little vegan and vegetarian options.

Beautiful place - Edit
Beautiful seating area outside as well as inside! Seems to be plastic free (paper straw and clothes made out of fabric) and even tho there are just little vegan options I really enjoyed it (I had the gnocchi). The portions are quite small in my opinion. Staff was very very friendly!

Beautifully designed restaurant with a charming vibe.
Read moreHad breakfast and dinner here twice and left impressed with flavours and attention to detail!
Go here for western/pan-asian cuisine, you won't be disappointed.
Would give this place 5 stars but happycow won't let me! (Has plenty of vegan & vegetarian options, but also good meats if that tickles your fancy)

Great atmosphere - Edit
Had a nice meal here, though there are not many vegan options (falafel plate and gnocchi). Both were quite good, though the kim chi felt out of place on the falafel dish. One of the more expensive meals we had.

Not the Christmas Eve we hoped for - Edit
We want to preface this review by saying that we are not fussy eaters at all. Food is one of the main reasons we came to Vietnam and we don’t dislike anything and would call ourselves adventurous eaters.
Read moreSo, we had high hopes when we saw the Christmas set menu and decided to choose the vegan option to shake things up. However, it took over three painstaking hours to receive all 4 courses, none of which were pleasant as they were dry, undercooked and unseasoned. We had to ask for our main several times, and when it was brought out, it was ice cold. When we sent it back to be reheated, it was brought out again, just as cold as before (and featuring a hair!). It was honestly like the chef had either neglected to check the food quality and/or had never tasted vegan food in their life.
We understand that this is likely a freak incident as this place has overwhelmingly positive reviews. After complaining several times, they offered free drinks as compensation, which we said wasn’t enough given how expensive the meal was ($495k!!!) and in the end we also received 20% off. We are backpackers who decided to treat ourselves to a pricier special occasion meal but were sadly very disappointed.
On a lighter note, the ambience is great and waitstaff are incredibly trendy.
Pros: Great atmosphere , One waiter was lovely , Good location
Cons: Expensive, Poor quality food, Slow service

Five stars! - Edit
Biang Bistro has the clearest menu we’ve seen in Vietnam. Little (v) next to all the dishes we could eat and they were some of the nicest breakfast foods we’ve eaten. Cinnamon porridge with poached pears and a mulberry compote! There were so many dishes we wanted to try and the setting is miles ahead anywhere else in town. It costs 2/3 times more than some of the other eateries but it’s a treat to relax in their stylish space.

The place is so lovely, the staff are really accommodating and could make most vegetarian dishes vegan by substituting eggs for tofu, would highly recommend the food was so fresh!

Super tasty - Edit
The restaurant is big and the room is really pretty. There are some vegan options listed on the menu. The staff are really very considerate and know exactly what is vegan and can help you. The food is really delicious, very tasty with fresh Da Lat products. The prices are a little higher than in Vietnamese restaurants but it makes sense with the standing of the restaurant.

Choice limited but excellet - Edit
There were 4 vegan choices on the menu, we had falafel plate and gnocchis. The food is very good with lots of flavors. The summer juice is a must. Plates are between 140 and 170 kvnd though, but it'r worth the price.

Biang_Bistro
Hi Niahoo, thank you for your comments and happy if our customers are happy. Just so you know we have more then just 4 vegan choices on our menu - majority of our food is design in such way that if you take certain elements away it's all very vegan and so therefore I would say 60% of our menu can be vegan. Our breakfast is to die for so next time if you about please come and try them.
