Best coffee I've found so far in Uluwatu area!

I've been in Bali for a week so far and have been looking for a place that does a decent coffee- I say decent, I'd settle for palatable! This place was it!

It's a charming little place with a few seats. It seemed like everybody who entered already knew someone there, giving it a real community feel (Like CBCB in Melbourne).

The coffee was brilliant! I had a soy latte, and to be honest it was so good I went back for another, not knowing when the next time I can get a good coffee will be!

I also had the chocolate chip muffin which was vegan, as were several of the other treats at the counter. Nothing is marked in the counter so best to ask. The menu is up for you to look at and I'm sure they do other things too, but I was in that pre-caffeinated daze when I came to order.

Almost all the seats also have charging plug sockets so if you're looking for somewhere to work this could be it. It was also a great place to people watch, most people are headed down to Thomas Beach which is just a 5 minute walk away (5 minutes there because you're going down the steps, but probably more like 15 minutes in the other direction because those steps are steep!)

It's also not far from the hubbub down towards Single Fin and Uluwatu Beach so if you happen to be there around sunset, then you could chill at BGS then walk down to watch the sunset and it will only take you 5ish minutes to get a good view over the beach.

Pros: Best coffee I've had so far!, Vegan treats!, Plenty of plug sockets

Cons: There was a guy smoking next to me :(

Everything has a vegan option

The location is wrong on HappyCow – they have three locations in Bali that are correctly marked on google maps. Smoothie bowls and excellent coffees ☕️

Delicious smoothie bowls

Great smoothie bowls, limited options but that’s okay because they are lovely. We went here for breakfast twice! Great oat milk lattes too.

Pros: Lots of options for cakes too, Friendly staff, Great location

Cons: Quite pricey
