Came for a snack, stayed for a feast - Edit
A vegan butchery and deli with very particular Central European flavors and the kind of meals that is the most widespread among common folk here - but veganized. If you want to taste what people actually eat in the Czech Rep., try this! Besides, very delicious. This is something I've been hoping for for ages.

Cons: New business, service still searching for its pace

New era of veganism in Prague - Edit
Cozy small place with vegan meat alternatives. From sausages, spreads, and hams to chlebíčky and saucisse de vin. Along with non alcoholic beer, this is a perfect spot for a quick cheat.

Great ! - Edit
I don’t miss meat so much so it’s not a necessity for me, but always fun to try charcuterie and other traditional Czech food like chlebíčky, and different kind of salads. My Czech boyfriend was in heaven and wanted to try everything 😀

This place was missing on Prague's map! - Edit
I was really happy when I heard this place was opening, as I've seen similar vegan 'butcher shops' in other countries and missed one in Prague. So I paid it a visit on the nearest occasion!
Read moreThe place is a bit small, just about 4 chairs for sit-in people. Decent options, though quite a few of them were sold out. I found it very pricey but customers kept coming all the time, so it seems to be popular nevertheless.
I tried two meals, "holanďák v housce" (which I didn't like too much, it was too tough) and "vinná klobása s bramborovým salátem" (which I quite liked). Portions were small though. Next time I wanna try chlebíčky!
Nothing is written in English unfortunately, but I believe the staff speak English.
I keep my fingers crossed for this place.
Pros: Things you don't find elsewhere , Very typical Czech food
Cons: Not much seating space, Pricey & small portions, Nothing written in English

Actually incredible - Edit
Tried a few of their salads, along with a schnitzel and a white wine sausage (not pictured). Matches the tastes I remember from when I used to eat the non-vegan versions back in the day, really can’t recommend it enough. Has a small (small!) section for seating inside.

Great progress - Edit
Definitely worth trying.
Read moreI hope it's the first of many. I bought a bunch of food to taste and had lunch on-site. The meatloaf was excellent, but the 'Holanďák' could use some cheese... Overall, great products.

First vegan deli in Prague - Edit
I’m so happy we have this new shop in Prague. Meatloaf sandwich (sekaná v housce) was delicious. And their open sandwich (chlebíček) with potato salad was absolutely perfect! If you want to try the famous czech “chlebicky” but vegan, this is the one to try!

Tasty vegan meaty treats - Edit
I've been looking forward to visiting since I first heard about a vegan butcher opening in Prague. I went for my first visit here and tried a few different things. It's a bit overwhelming for someone who has been vegetarian since 16 and never really been in a butchers. There were a lot of options and I wasn't really sure where to start so I just picked a few things at random and it was mostly delicious.
Read moreThe nuggets were fantastic. Well seasoned with a great fibrous meaty texture. It was all nice and moist and juicy too. I wish I'd gone to the effort of reheating them in the often to crisp up the coating.
I had a couple of slices of mortadella which were good. It tasted good and meaty and I enjoyed the flavours and textures from the olives, pepper and pistachio.
I also had a bit of meatloaf (sekaná) and I was a bit underwhelmed by this. It was fine but unremarkable. It didn't really taste of much and I have no reference point at all for what a meatloaf should be like.
It's largely a takeaway place with only a few seats. There was a good selection of meaty stuff and there were extra things such as chlebíčky (Czech open sandwiches). I am definitely keen to go back and try some more stuff.

Amazing vegan vutchery!! - Edit
Tried most of their products and they’re simply amazing. You can get your products to go or eat there some dishes made with their products. From the simple seitan to complex sunflower meat. They’ve all your favourites.

A vegan charcuterie!!! - Edit
An all vegan fancy fake meat place! Brand new so do go and support this place if you are ita. I recommend the light coloured salami in the orange wrapper very fine. We asked if the would cut us 3 slices of each salami so we could try them all and they obliged. A rare and delicious treat.
Read moreThere was an unhelpful absence of English labelling but that is gonna be remedied soon. There are only four seats inside and two out so best to consider this a takeaway joint. Otherwise even for a vegan of nearly 4 decades this place was a lovely surprise to discover and experience.
I’ll be back.
Pros: A fake meat fest in a friendly space!, Not overly expensive , Something new (even for Prague!)
Cons: No English translations

Very tasty - Edit
Had chlebíčky, salami and marinated chicken. Everything tasted great but the price is pretty high, especially for the chicken pieces.

room for improvement - Edit
They definitely need to keep working on their sausages, both texture and taste wise. Vinna klobasa was truly awful 😀 wish them best of luck tho, I will for sure visit from time to time
