Great vegan + gluten free food

Four of us went here and had a great time. The team was nice and they even had blankets for us. When you order the player for 4 ppl it works out only £11 each, so highly recommended. Lots of variety, including gluten free injera bread. Only con is that the portions for 4 people is on the small side, so if you’re hungry, I would actually recommend you get the platter for 4 if there are 2-3 of you!

Pros: Great food, Very affordable, Lots of gluten free options

Cons: Not a huge portion

It’s just a notch above all else, period.

Outstanding! I didn't expect to find the best Ethiopian I've ever had in London, but here it was. I will say that service is fast, compared with most Ethiopian places, the place was small and nice, the staff were friendly, but more importantly - the food was just better than anywhere else I've been. Each item just had an extra touch of flavor and depth and we just kept saying out loud, "this is the better version of this dish" as we ate (like their Gomen). On top of that - they had a scrambled chickpeas, which I'd not seen on other menus.

Pros: Gomen , Deep and rich flavors , Nice spot

Lovely place

Shared the delicious set meal between three of us. More than enough food. Staff were very friendly, the restaurant decor is very cute. I don’t get to eat Ethiopian food enough so was such a treat.

Wholesome and delicious!

We shared a delicious platter for two. All healthy delicious wholefood plant based dishes made from lentils, beans, spinach, cabbage and carrots laid on a bed of injera. We were also given extra injera with two dipping sauces but they were a bit too spicy for us to finish. The platter itself is not spicy at all. We paid £19 each for the meal plus drinks costs.

The staff were absolutely lovely, explaining the menu and checking in with us throughout. The interior was beautiful but we sat outside as it was a hot day. As Beza is located next to a plant shop, this was a lovely experience because we were surrounded by greenery! Well worth a visit to try this wholesome cuisine and support this lovely business.

Excellent experience!

Very tasty food and big platter for sharing! Very friendly staff and outside seating is available. The only thing to be aware of is that there is a set menu with a price of £19 per person.

Finger licking food!

It's a snazzy restaurant in a new building of some kind. Based on Happycow we were expecting something less fancy. It was quiet at 5pm on a Saturday, great service and fancy tap water was good.

The menu was pricier than we thought as Happycow gives it one $ but it was £19 per person. No choice of meal as it's a set menu but we hate making decisions anyway and you get to have everything which is great. We also added on the Shiro, which was a delicious chickpea satay sauce.

All in all we recommend but it's not a cheap place to eat, a main course anywhere will set you back less.

Pros: Clean, Very tasty, Relaxed

Cons: Expensive

Went there for diner, only 1 option : big plate with 8 different dishes and injera
Tasty, can spice it up if you want with spice paste on side
Friendly staff, cosy vibe with soft music

Highly recommend

I recommend this place to anyone who will listen. I first had a meal with family at Beza about a year ago and couldn’t stop thinking about the food. When I found myself at a loose end in London, it was the first place I thought of, and I gladly spent half an hour on the tube to get there. The food was just as good as I remembered and so reasonably priced for the variety of different things you get to try on the platter. I’m sure I will be back again!

Pros: Inexpensive, big portions, So tasty, Great service

Quite expensive- but very good food

19 pounds per person here set menu - but the food is wonderful, and comes with hot sauces to add even more flavor. All the dishes were very tasty.

Highly recommended

Food was amazing. We shared a plate for 3 between 4 of us. It was plenty. Our children enjoyed the desserts. Even the water was amazing. It wasn't cheap but was well worth it.

Really delicious

It was really traditional with wooden cups. The food was so good and you had everything on one plate that you'd share.

Flavorful food, cute space

A friend and I shared a platter, I liked the diversity of the different offerings. The location is cute, the staff friendly, and the prices alright. Delicious selection, you get 9 different things on the platter, of course served with injera and hot sauces on the side.

Delicious

I lived the vibe, and the food arrived very quickly. We shared between 3 and it was more than enough food. As a Zambian, it was nice to eat with my hands at a restaurant! I would recommend trying. It was a great way to eat, and try lots of different dishes and flavours!

Pros: Try different options, Nice vibe, Decent price

Delicious Ethiopian Food

Really delicious and enjoyable food at a fully vegan Ethiopian place. We got a plate to share and it was more than enough for two people, it comes with various different curries on injera bread. It is also served with more bread and two sauces on the side (beware as they are both really spicy). Service is really nice and friendly and the prices are fair.

Huge sharing platter, I challenge you to finish the whole thing

The sharing platter, with a multitude of delicious curries, is excellent for communal eating. It sits on a bed of bread (which they superfluously provide more of). It’s just a great experience all round. Also the drinks come in cute wooden cups.

Really tasty, varied Ethiopian food

This is the standard Ethiopian style with lots of foods laid out on a big injera pancake.
Everything on that injera was lovely and there was more than enough for a great lunch. It was served with two chili sauces - mild and hot. I am usually ok with spice but even the mild was scorching for me so I left the hot one!
You can eat at a traditional Ethiopian table which is a nice touch, and the place is laid out with lots of space. The service was friendly and attentive.
All round, this was great!

Delicious food

We had the injera plate and the rice bowl and both were delicious and very generous portions. Be careful before you try the chilli dips though! Even the milder one is extremely hot!!

Service so so but good is amazing!

Nice setting, delicious food. Normally staff at Ethiopian restaurants are super friendly and maybe the owners are but our server was a little disinterested and forgetful. We’d come back though!

Mixed box on Uber Eats

I love Ethiopian food, I got it last week from another vegan place nearby, and I saw the 5 stars reviews on here so really wanted to try. I got a mixed box which had lots of options and came with injera so you get a great portion. But it came in a box that was leaking a bit and I didnt really like two of my choices for some reason - although thats just personal preference and the risk of uber eats. The injera was super salty too, like a bit more than normal, but perfect texture

A very fulfilling and colourful experience

Beza Ethiopian food did NOT disappoint. As our second dive into vegan food during our trip to London, Beza certainly displayed some of the city’s best. We ordered a platter for 4 people which included all available mains on a large dish of injera, all of which were very satisfying, delicious, and fulfilling, featuring a beautiful array of colours and flavours. Accompanying the meal we ordered a traditional coffee for two, which while initially we were warned of its bitterness, we endured and savoured its strong flavours and high level of caffeine. I would highly recommend Beza for any wishing to try some of London’s more adventurous vegan options.
