Ethiopian food with varying platter sizes. Portions were larger than expected and I ended up getting a second meal out of it. Baklava (and I think also some of the drinks?) had honey in it so i didnt get dessert :/

This was such a gem to find! I am a big fan of Ethiopian food and this is some of the best I’ve had. Huge variety of yummy-sounding options which is always exciting for vegans. The service was wonderful and the portions were very large for the price. Looking forward to coming back when I’m in NYC again.

I may be biased because Ethiopian is one of my favorite cuisines but what’s not to love about this place? Generous portions (this is big for me as I often complain about small portions), 100% vegan, reasonable prices (only $20 for my dinner and I was stuffed- hard to find this in NYC!), delicious food. Nothing was overly salty or oily (another problem I often run into at restaurants). Everyone was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I went here for the first time recently and we had a great experience. The food is top notch; so flavorful, and the service was great. The vibes are also very chill and relaxed; was really nice to hang at a restaurant that wasn’t trying to be IG or TikTok ready and felt authentic. We got to speak with the owner or one of the owners for a bit and told her everything is fantastic, and she was so grateful and kind. We also got free popcorn, homemade bread, and a tasting of Ethiopian coffee, which they serve every Saturday. We will be coming back!

Super frustrating to take a 35 dollar uber across the bridge to try vegan Ethiopian food only to have them turn us away at 9:20pm when their website states they close at 10pm. Not okay.
