Veggie Options for Students!

Checked out this location while I was visiting the area, staff was friendly and they had a whole section of vegan cookies! Also, calling all Kombucha lovers- they got you! They have a plethora of options, some even on tap AND plenty of veggie options for those on the go. Cute little seating area inside and outside, it is small- but I love the idea! Also, they have this rad program “pay it forward” for those with funds to support others to be able to afford yummy and healthy foods! Totally recommend checking this store out to students and the community!

Pros: Vegan options, KOMBUCHA!!!, Friendly staff and “Pay it Forward” program

Cons: Super tempting Vegan Cookie section....

Not many products

One of the reviews said they have vegan yogurt, but they didn't when we went. There wasn't much in general there as it is a very small store. The deli items didn't look that great.

Pros: Grassroots

Cons: Small, Not many products

Friendly grocer to all diets!

The Berkeley Student Food Collective is definitely the way to go when looking for groceries or a quick meal in the UC-area. Most grab-n-go food items are vegan and store-made. The BSFC sells individual cups of soy and coconut yogurt, so vegans can definitely enjoy those little bites without having to always pack special food items at home. Best products: Harmless Harvest Coconut Water; House kombucha on-tap; dried mangos; all sandwiches.

Pros: Customer service, Vegan snack and lunch options, Sustainable packaging

Cons: A bit pricey, Small interior, Preparation isn't vegan (vegetarian!)
