Serves meat, vegan options available. Offers bagels with various fillings including vegetarian and vegan choices. Open Mon-Thu 6:00am-8:00pm, Fri-Sat 6:00am-10:00pm, Sun 6:00am-8:00pm.
Bergen bagel is extremely overpriced and especially on Fulton street. Tell me why a bagel with one egg is $4.50 with tax when you go downtown Brooklyn to be specific Smith street and Baltic or smith street and president street a neighborhood that is more rent costly and I pay for a bagel with two eggs for $3.25 with tax. Price control really need to visits these places because owners are really over doing it with prices. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY BERGEN BAGELS AGAIN BECAUSE OWNERS ARE OVER DOING IT AND IM SURE THE EGGS ARE NOT ORGANIC EGGS. DON’T EVEN ASK IF YOU WANT AVOCADO A FEW SLICES OF THAT MESSED IS $2.00 SMH NEED TO DO BETTER WITH PRICING AND I’M SURE WORKING ARE GETTING JUST minimum WAGES.
I asked the staff what is vegan and they told me that they don’t have vegan bagels? The women before me got some tofu spread and there was fish in it! She complained and the guy at the bar saw no problem: „but this is not dairy...“ was his response.
Weird.
Might wanna check if the tofu spread is even vegetarian at all!
First of all, you have to go there really hungry. I thought my bagel was really filling and it lasted for two meals! I got an everything bagel with tofu veggie cream cheese and a hazelnut latte. Loved the hazelnut latte! The setup is a little weird because I thought you order the drinks at the end, but it's a good place and locals love it.
