The tofu dish is okay, the tofu coating was nice but there was no sauce? They need to add a sauce or vegan spicy mayo. They have a tofu katsu curry but there’s egg in the recipe 👎🏼 please remove the egg!

They do really nice vegan options, the bento box is fantastic. The sides are good and the miso comes with chunky tofu, overall everything I’ve had there I’ve really enjoyed.
Read moreThe bento box is my big recommend. Comes with good vegan sushi, the tempura is fantastic and overall is a great meal. The katsu curry is awesome! Perfect panko and rice.
Go there regularly when I’m up in Clifton and do recommend for a nice meal. Also very reasonably priced for what you get and the quality.

Helpful staff, decent ambiance, but rather unseasoned and flavorless meal. Everything sort of tasted the same, nothing really stood out unfortunately. Overwhelming taste of unseasoned tempura batter, couldn't even taste the veggies? Ordered Bao (greasy piece of tempura pumpkin with no seasoning, cucumber, crispy onions, spring onions and half a teaspoon of a semi decent sauce which was so sparsly offered you couldn't taste it when it was on the bao), tempura veggies (couldn't taste veggies, though a decent mix), donburi (good portion of tofu, but was silken tofu in a tempura batter which just got soggy and slid off, the main flavour was fried onion, but it was a big portion) and udon noodles and veggies. How this was so flavourless I'll never know! Whole meal could have done with some fresh herbs and maybe salt at least? Tastiest things on the table were ginger beer, soy sauce and chili oil which was gladly offered by the staff on request. Fab location, just don't go with many expectations. I hate leaving negative reviews but I really need others to not feel quite this level of disappointment!!

Some of the best vegan sushi in Bristol! - Edit
This is one of our favorite spots in all of England for vegetable bento sets, some ridiculous (dangerously habit-forming) eggplant (aubergine) steak, and steamy bowl of yasai tofu donburi - off of the separate all vegan menu from @bentobossbristol where your taste buds will have a fantastic time.

Pros: Separate Vegan Menu, Kid friendly. My toddler loves their food. , Conveniently located next to a train station.
Cons: I wish they had even more vegan sushi options.
