Decent curry - Edit
Great to see clearly labelled vegan section on the menu but would be better if all sides and starters were labelled too. Despite other reviews on here saying the naans were vegan, the waiter said this was not the case. Mushroom rice can be made vegan but needs to be made with boiled rice and not pilau rice. Vegetable bhuna was really nice but quite a small portion. Very good prices.

Really great selection of vegan options, which myself and friends tried 3 dishes of. Price is pretty standard for Brick Lane, Naan bread (plain) is vegan and excellent! But wow all of our dishes were swimming in oil, to the point it was more overpowering than the curry flavour. Service was excellent, but lets just say my plumber will not forgive me for going here.

Vegan And Vegetarian Specialists - Edit
So the sign said outside, we were not disappointed by the service at Bengal Village. They have a seperate vegan and vegetarian menu. The food was freshly prepared and really tasty. The papadums and chutney dips are the best! We were able to specify vegan curries and rice for mains.
