Decent Vegan Options - Edit
At least one vegan option in each part of the menu (starters, mains, desserts). Only vegan option on the list of mains was a vegan bolognese, but we asked if there were other options and they also had a spinach falafel burger available (not on menu) which we enjoyed. They also had a vegan chocolate orange cheesecake, but we were full so didn’t get to try! Very cozy setting and beautiful view of the mountains.

Vegan haggis! - Edit
Perfect place to go after climbing Ben Nevis. Vegan haggis and vegan chocolate orange cheesecake were very tasty. The atmosphere was great, highly recommend.

Good vegan options, great location - Edit
Located at the bottom of ben nevis, perfect for an after-hike drink and meal. There was a vegan option in every part of the menu (starter, sandwich, main and dessert). The food and service was good.

Nice vegan options - Edit
We shared the haggis and tatties, sweet potato bon bons and cauli wings with chips between two of us. All was very nice and flavourful.

Lovely inn, ok food - Edit
I came by around 6 pm on a Sunday. There were lots of empty tables, but they must have been reserved since the waitstaff had a hard time finding me an available seat (the tables semi-filled up by the time I left).
Read moreThe menu has clearly marked vegan options, which is nice, but the selection is limited. I ordered the vegan haggis, a mushroom burger and the coconut dessert. The haggis was tasty - it was oats, turnip and potato with gravy, I believe. The mushroom burger was decent, but tasted a bit funky. After a few bits, I pealed off the top of the bun and noticed what looked like cheese. I don’t think it was vegan cheese. There wasn’t much - it was almost like a slice of cheese was added but then later removed, with only some melted bits remaining. My advice is to be careful and double-check that the food you’re getting is vegan. The waitstaff seem to be aware of veganism and want to make your visit pleasant, so you can flag this sort of issue to them.
The coconut dessert was ok but nothing special. I appreciate that they have a vegan dessert.

Separate vegan menu! - Edit
We had dinner here after climbing Ben Nevis. They have a separate fully vegan menu, with varied options (i.e. burger, curry, gnocchi, tart etc). We had the vegan burger and the vegan tart which were both lovely and came with generous portions of chips, but the highlight was definitely the vegan haggis neeps and tatties!

Red onion and goats cheese tart perfectly nice. Beer kept so well it deserves a Cask Marque in my opinion.

Too busy to serve - Edit
We waited too be seated for 10 mins though there were tables. Seemed understaffed as the only person waiting had a bit of attitude, and was busy taking payment from a large group of people. Ended going to a much friendlier place at Arisaig (Arisaig hotel) which was about an hour away.
