Beautiful Bakery - Edit
This locally-owned plant/based padaria is the sweetest (and not just the pastries. Nestled in the Lapa neighborhood, João and Luis are serving up delicious Negrita coffee, empanadas, fresh sourdough loaves, pastéis de natas, cinnamon rolls and pantry snack for take away.

Little gems in non-touristy areas - Edit
Porto has so much to be explored, even outside the touristy areas where you can find small cafes like Belo Farelo that owe nothing to the ones more centrally located. This quaint place is located in a residential area, it offers excellent sourdough bread and pastries and also carry some produce (today they had persimmons) and small batches of homemade marmalade, organic Portuguese popular lupine beans, a delicious and rich protein source. There is always good music playing in the background.
Read moreI had the sourdough Focaccia and a coconut base pastry that were very both tasteful. And their coffee is one of the best in Portugal.
I definitely recommend trying them out
Pros: Pleasant ambience, Warm staff, Very good food
Cons: Could be open more often, currently only Fri-Sat.

Lovely Vegan bakery. - Edit
Delicious cinnamon rolls, sourdough croissants and focaccia all hand made on the premises. Friendly helpful staff. If you come to Porto definitely stop here for breakfast or pickup a loaf of bread. It's a shame it's only open 2 days otherwise we'd be there everyday.

Great croissants - Edit
It’s been a while since the last time I ate a damn good brioche croissant 😍 the chocolate rolls are also good, we have to come back to try the other stuff. The bread looked amazing but unfortunately it was already sold out.

Cute and cosy - Edit
We loooved this cafe/bakery, and went back every morning of our stay in Porto.
Read moreThe cinnamon rolls are so soft and delicious, they do great coffee, and lovely sourdough bread with gluten free options.
The atmosphere was so nice - friendly guys that run it, great relaxed music playing, trees outside.
They have a little shop with some seitan and tofu options to take away (the alheira sausage was very good) and some nice things to buy as presents.
The only thing to be aware of is I think they don’t have the pastries if it’s the first day of opening, just the bread.

Thank you!
