Read moreI’m always a bit reserved about giving five stars to a restaurant, because for me there’s a difference between (very) good food, and food that has that “special something” that you can’t have everywhere. BEKIND definitely has both!
Everything we had there was super good and special, without any exception. It was simply a perfect experience, and that place does easily make it to my top 5 restaurants worldwide. Already looking so much forward to my next visit!

I loved the Cheesy burger so much, I came back looking for another dish that wouldn't be a burger and the Katsu perfectly delivered, the coleslaw was super flavorful and the katsu as well. You have to try this place if you're in Zagreb!

Currently, this is one of the BEST vegan restaurants in Zagreb... quality of food, presentation of the food, atmosphere in the restaurant. We feel that they make their food with love. Everything we ordered (many times) was just right - each and every time.

Burgers were amazing! CHEESY burger has a delicious bean patty, homemade bun and rich, tasty sauce.
Mac&Cheese was a dream come true... creamy, tasty, just like it should be. We ordered it several times and it's consistently the same.
Cheesecake is creamy - with perfect cheesecake texture. Love it every time!
We often take lemon cookies and chocolate cookies with us to go - after our meal. They are crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle... perfect.

Wir sind erst vorbeigelaufen, haben es dann aber gefunden. Die Auswahl ist groß & da alles vegan ist, macht es auch Spaß, sich zu entscheiden. Wir waren schon zweimal bei BEKIND & hatten jeweils wunderbar leckere Burger in verschiedenen Varianten. Einmal gab es jeweils etwas Süßes danach & das andere Mal Mac&Cheeze dazu. I came here while on holiday in Croatia, with my non vegan dad and brother. I ordered a feast and my father had the standard vegan cheeseburger.
Read moreMy dad didn’t have high expectations (as always with vegan food 🤦) but he said he was pleasantly surprised. He actually complimented the chef and said he couldn’t tell the burger apart from a non vegan beef burger.
I ordered the ‘free the bird’ mushroom burger, mac and cheeze, mushroom pate and pico de gallo bruschetta. Everything was to perfection.
Portion sizes were great and the flavours were amazing. The mushroom pate and the bruschetta were my 2 favourites. The bruschetta was actually my favourite dish on my whole 9 day holiday in Croatia. It had balsamic pearls that just brought the dish to the next level 🤯.
The mac and cheeze was really yummy, but was more creamy than cheesy.
To finish I ordered the cheesecake, which again was perfect. Tasted better than any non vegan vanilla cheesecake I’ve had. I also ordered the brownie to go and ate it when I got back home. It was hands down the best brownie I have ever had in my 22 years of life. I’ve had many brownies but this was just divine. Dense, rich, chewy, chocolatey goodness. So chocolatey and filling.
The only downfall of the meal was my dad’s apple crumble. He wasn’t a fan of it so I tried it to see if he was being unfair, but his opinion was fair. My expectation of apple crumble is hot crumble with ice cream, but this was cold and the main flavour was butter, but not a crumbly butter flavour, just straight butter. I feel mean to mention this but I say it in the hopes of it being seen as positive feedback.
The location was on the outskirts of town but still easily accessible just off of the main road. Some outdoor seating but mostly indoors, with minimal decor and a few paintings. The open kitchen is nice to see, as you can see everything in action.
The best aspect of the whole place is that everything is made in house.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She was also happy for a chat and told us a bit about the restaurant and its creation, which was quite inspiring to hear her and her brothers passion for the place.
Overall 9.5/10. The only downfall being the apple pie.

This was our favourite place to eat in Zagreb, we went there twice! The burgers were amazing and the mac and cheese was delicious. I had the Free the Bird burger which had breaded oyster mushrooms. My friend had pulled mushroom burger which she loved. The second time I went, I had the Cheezy burger. That was nice but my preference was the Free the Bird. The side of coleslaw was nice a fresh!

Il cibo era molto buono, abbiamo preso un burger con patatine fritte dolci, spaziali. E la proposta dello chef che quel giorno era cotoletta di melanzana con puré. Per concludere una cheesecake buonissima, semplice ma con tanto gusto. Location vicina al centro, in una corte con pochi coperti. Peccato per le ventole esterne per l’aria condizionata che rovinava un po‘ l‘ambiente e spesso usciva molto calore. Il personale gentile e molto veloce. Ci tornerei per provare altri piatti!

The vegan burgers are super tasty and packed with flavor. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel right at home. Loved the chill atmosphere with cool art on the walls and jazz music playing on the radio. Definitely a great spot to hang out and enjoy some good food!

My favorite vegan place in Zagreb! Great food, very nice inside and cute terace outside. Pet friendly (also inside!). Very friendly staff! 😃 Burgers are delicious (especially Free the Bird) and other food is delicious and very interesting. Great upscale selection of drinks - vine, beer and even soft drinks. Tasty desserts. And all that for a fair price!

Partner and I both had the "Free The Bird" burger (fried oyster mushroom) and it was absolutely delicious. It was a great dirty burger that somehow still felt like a clean meal. We also both had the mac and cheese as a side which was delicious.

Staff were friendly and patient as well, and location is a bit hidden away but means it's really quiet and not too close to main roads

BeKind is in a quiet location very near to the main attractions of Zagreb. Beautiful, tasteful ambience. The staff were so welcoming to me and my dog companion. The menu is small but has enough on it to make choosing possible if not easy as it is all so delicious sounding. A good mix of healthy but decadent. Fiona had mac and cheese and a beyond burger off the sides menu and I had the new wave burger which was delicious. Home made lemonade to drink.

I am a regular at this place, great burgers, the kids love Mac&Cheeze, every week a new soup and Chef's special , great taste . The coffee is great and they have a choice of tea, tasty cookies , brownie and donuts.
