Authentic Ethiopian food - Edit
Bejte serves authentic Ethiopian food, very well served, for a reasonable price. The service is fast and warming and also the place decorations are beautiful. I recommend the vegan main dish for a complete meal! Also the traditional beers are interesting and different!

Good vegan options - Edit
Basically there’s one main vegan option: the mixed plate of vegan recipes. It is great. Injera here is wonderful. Always friendly service. Make reservations.

Good food, too much incense - Edit
They serve meat, but they have interesting vegan options. The food was good, but the large amount of incense made it difficult to enjoy. We asked for ventilation and were told that it was traditional. I have visited several Ethiopian restaurants around the world and I have never experienced this problem. The food was tasty, but a little less than in other Ethiopian restaurants. The injeras were perfects. The have good and cheap wine.

Delicious - Edit
Had the vegetarian combination platter for two and it was simply delicious. It comes with Injera and 5 different „Sauces“ and we wanted to lick the plate clean in the end. The service is good, and the ambience as well.

Slow service, ok food, beautiful place! - Edit
Bejte Ethiopia is a medium-sized restaurant located in Schöneberg.
Read moreThe allergens are marked for each dish on the menu, which makes it possible to decipher what is vegan. I still recommend asking, to be sure.
I was there with some friends and we all ordered different things. A pretty big minus for me is how long it took to get our food. The restaurant was not nearly full and it took 30+ minutes for five main dishes. The food was good but nothing exceptional. Something I really liked was the interior design. It was dark and cozy and full of Ethiopian decorations.

Good food - Edit
The food was good, the staff quite nice but I had better ethiopian cuisine in a warmer atmosphere before. Usually I leave these kind of restaurants stuffed. This time I could have eaten even more. Unfortunately they did not have any vegan dessert.

Unvergesslich - Edit

Yummy food, long wait - Edit
Delicious veggie dishes in a quite an authentic atmosphere. Try the honey wine (if you’re ok with honey). We waited for the food for so long though, so skip if you’re in a hurry.

Amazing vegan food - Edit
Such a great experience, lovely atmosphere and staff! There were four of us and we ordered two of the vege (vegan) platters, meant to serve two people each. It arrived on one massive injera, with loads of different toppings/curries on top as well as a side plate with extra injera. So so delicious:-)

Vegan feast! - Edit
Delighted to find this place and to introduce my partner to Ethiopian cuisine ☺️ we shared the vegetarian combo, which staff explained was vegan before we asked, along with beer and mango juice, and prompted interest from other diners when the platter arrived! Delicious food. Lovely staff. A little pricier than other places we've been but worth it.
