Decent vegan food for tourist prices - Edit
Basic vegan dishes in good quality in a mostly meat serving place. Even though pictures show it, currently (Oct 2024) there is no vegan Currywurst available.

Alles in allem völlig in Ordnung, aber noch einmal würden wir nicht hingehen. Das Gyros war recht trocken, der Dip dazu hat meinen persönlichen Geschmack nicht getroffen, war mir zu sauer. Das Gemüse ging unter den Pommes und Gyros etwas unter, die Portion war dafür mehr als genug. Der Beilagensalat war sehr lecker, das Pilzragout (Weihnachtskarte glaube ich noch) meines Mannes war auch gut!

Reliable Food, many vegan options - Edit
Maybe I'm spoiled from the last two restaurants I've been in. But compared to those, this food was mediocre. The Soya Gyros (recommendation of the house) was quite salty, veggies tasted frozen or reheated, just not fresh, the salad was good though!
Read moreThe staff is friendly and the view is beautiful and you're able to sit outside on a terrace in the sade, however, the restaurant is right by the street which means passing cars every other minute.
All in all good place, reliable but (at least the vegan options) not traditional local food, many vegan options!
My omni partner's food (also recommended by the house) was also OK, however nothing which pulls us back to this place.

Been here for dinner after a long vacation day. A lot of choices on the menu, clearly labeled! Had the vegan burger, which was very delicious, a guess it was a beyond meat patty or something similar, good sauces, huge portion and very hearty. My meat-loving boyfriend enjoyed the Schweinemedaillons, and everyone was happy.

You have a stunning view from that place. The food was also delicious - it is a mix of Bavarian and Italian. Portions are big as it is usual in Bavaria so a main dish was more than sufficient for me :)

Gemütliches Restaurant mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Viele vegetarische und auch vegane Optionen, die klar und einheitlich markiert sind. Kam hierher, um einen kleinen Snack zu essen und hatte die Tomatensuppe - vegan, wenn ohne Sahne bestellt - die sehr lecker war.

Nice place with many vegan and vegetarian options - Edit
I was happy to see that the menu of Olivenbauer clearly marked all vegan and vegetarian options, so that it was very easy to find something. The vegan offer was the following: 2 vines, 2 noodle dishes, a burger, pizzabread, a soup, 3 appetizers, 4 salads and two extra vegan dishes (swiss hash brown with sauce and patties with tomato sauce). There were of course a lot more vegetarian options. We decided to try out the pizza bread and spaghetti aglio e olio, the price for both was good and it was tasty. I will definitely go there again when I'm in the area.

Tried this place after visiting the castles and was very impressed. We ordered 2 mains (1x huge garlic pizza, 1x veggie burger patty with vegetables), 1 starter (olive bread and salad) and 2 drinks and it was €22. Vegan and vegetarian options labelled, English menus and very good service. There's a really nice outdoor seating area too. Easy to find by this map, street parking nearby. Definitely recommend! Would have preferred to give it 5 stars :)
