Tim Burton themed dinner and entertainment

$65 for vegan appetizer, entree, and dessert. The menu is labeled with vegan options, except for the drinks and kids menus.
There was 1 option for a vegan appetizer, 3 options for vegan entrees, and 1 option for the vegan dessert.
The food, service, and entertainment were good. A lot of photo opportunities in all corners, and also meet and greet with your favorite Tim Burton themed characters like Beetle Juice, Morticia Addams, Corpse Bride, Lydia Deetz, Raven, and Chucky. Beetle Juice was the host and very funny. The other characters sang and did magic tricks. Join the conga train dance! It was pretty busy so reservations are probably best to get the better seats. $10 public parking around the corner.
We stayed for 2.5 hours, the service was a little slow, but we got to meet and see all the characters perform.

Dung Beetle House

I had been looking forward to visiting Beetle House for months, so maybe my expectations were too high, but it was very disappointing.

Reservations are not required, but basically necessary during busy times. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or show up more than 15 minutes late, they charge you $60 per person. Ironically, we waited more than 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated.

Dinner is $60 per adult, and includes one appetizer and one entree, but there is only one vegan option of each, so there isn't any other choice. The Undead Arancini is three deep-fried breaded risotto balls with vegan Mozzarella. They were okay. The Deetz No Meatz Burger is a Beyond patty, Follow Your Heart vegan cheese, little gem lettuce, vegan garlic aioli, and avocado smash on a "fresh baked vegan bun" served with fries. The pretzel bun was extremely stale.

I was hoping the entertainment would make up for the mediocre food...it didn't. It wasn't bad, but it was brief and underwhelming. We only saw three performers in an hour--a person deep-throating a balloon, a little person dressed as Chucky, and a short duet by Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Overall, a waste of time and money. Instead, go to a good restaurant and watch a horror movie.

Pros: music

Cons: expensive, only two vegan options, short duration of entertainment
