Why is this on Happy Cow? - Edit
Nothing against the place itself, which is nice and cozy. I just don't understand why it's listed on Happy Cow. We got pizza without cheese to make it vegan, which was okay. The fryer is shared with meat dishes so fries aren't vegan. Tempura here is not vegan either because of the shared frier and because the batter is not vegan. No Tofu Pizza on the menu when we visited. Edamame were vegan. If I had known this was just a regular place trying to bend their options towards our needs I would have stayed away. I am grateful they did their best, though.

Tucked away from the main tourist heavy sites, they have a diverse selection of craft beers and a delicious menu, including seasonal vegetable tempura, tofu pizza (the tofu is the crust!), and grilled edamame.

Amazing beer, tasty food too - Edit
Being a beer place; the beer is the star here - and what a selection. Primarily local, with all-Japanese taps, covering some rare and interesting drinks. Food is very good, with several vegetarian options on the regular menu and sometimes extra options among the specials. Spicy fries were a surprising standout - extremely flavourful. Deep fried tofu was also very good; tofu replaces the pizza crust, for a very unique dish.
