The chickpeas here are delicious. Although not lots of vegan options the staff are very accommodating and they sometimes run vegan entree and dessert specials
I don’t understand why this place is always recommended... - Edit
I don’t know why this place has such good reviews. It’s not that it’s awful, but the vegan options are scarce at best. The only option they have is a vegan black bean burger. Although the burger is big, it is SO mushy. Like baby food consistency. And everyone raves about the pastries but I’ve gone here a handful of times and never been able to get my hands on one. I hate to be a Debbie downer about a place that has A vegan option but there really isn’t anything to rave about.
went and had lunch there, not too many options. you can’t get a sandwich because they don’t have any vegan bread so you have to get black bean burger or butternut sandwich with no bread. the kale salad was just okay. i added the roasted chickpeas to it which were super tasty and it made the salad a smidge better. still not much flavor. the muffin was very dense and bland. but the brownie with mocha buttercream and chocolate on top was absolutely delicious!
Beehive is one of the only places that offers an actual vegan meal within 20 min from Bristol/Portsmouth that isn’t a smoothie bowl. I visit often and order the black bean burger every time (specify vegan= different bread & no cheese). food is clean, fresh and most is scratch made. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is homey.
I really liked this cute little place! It’s quirky with sea creature table markers and even the nonvegan options seem like they’d be tasty and well-thought out. The vegan food seems like a bit of an afterthought to include vegans, rather than to cater to them. I had the Impossible Burger (a special) and they prepared it really well—and the chickpeas on the side were really delicious! But I could also go to Burger King and get an Impossible Burger there for ten less dollars. I wish it was priced a little more affordably—I paid over $50 for my wife and I to have lunch, drinks, and a muffin each to go. As far as coming back, I don’t live in the area so I can’t say for sure that I will, but it seems there aren’t many other choices around so I probably would!
Every time I come here, I order a vegan breakfast burrito (black beans, avocado, salsa etc.). Great food, but be prepared to wait in line. Vegan muffins are to die for if you get there early enough. I stop here for coffee before work sometimes, the line is definitely worth it.
I go here almost every week for lunch. They have a killer vegan black bean burger. Although that's pretty much the only vegan option other than a salad or if your lucky enough to snag a vegan pastry.

Cons: Not many vegan options yet, It’s a gamble if VG dessert is offered that day, Limited seating but I’ve never had to wait long
