Classic country cafe. No frills, just good food. - Edit
Long black was long and black, so big tick.
Read moreVegan options as of March 2025 are:
Pumpkin curry pie. Indistinguishable from the rest of the pie selection in terms of looks (which I consider a good thing) pretty hefty solid pie with a tasty filling that isn’t spicy but rather creamy. Pie wasn’t soggy but was purchased at the beginning of the day.
There is also a falafel wrap on the menu which is vegan.
I had the harvest focaccia without the cheese and aioli which had veggies, avocado and mushrooms. It came toasted and was nice, but not quite as nice as the pie, albeit clearly a healthier option.
Not sure if any of the sweets are vegan anymore as none are listed, but I didn’t ask because I don’t really have a sweet tooth.
There is paid parking on the road however if you drive around the back they have free customer parking.

Pros: Couple of vegan options. , Nice coffee, Relaxed environment, free parking at the back.
Cons: If you like fancy, then this isn’t for you. , It’s a little pricy for what you get.

Surprisingly delicious! - Edit
Just made a small stop here on the road trip. The coffee is very creamy and the Indian curry pie was hot and crispy and actually quite spicy!

Classic Australian bakery - Edit
Really loved the nostalgia here. They have 2 pie options a glazed don't and alternative milks. Hopefully they expand their range into the future but really couldn't fault the don't of chilli con carne pie. Definitely recommend if you are passing through

Surprisingly amazing - Edit
We had the chili con carne pie (made with red kidney beans and V2 mince) and wow, we were super impressed. We wanted to get the vegie curry pie as well but they didn’t have any available at the time.
Read moreWe followed the pie with a glazed donut and were even more impressed; so fluffy and doughy and delicious. Will definitely be going back when in town again!
Pies were $7.50 each and donuts were $5 each.
Pros: Delicious , Reasonably priced pies , Good location in town
Cons: Limited options, However more options than most bakeries
