Delicious soups! - Edit
I've been coming to Whitby for years and didn't notice Beckett's until this year. It's such a cosy atmosphere like a cafe meets library. They have a couple of vegan soup options clearly advertised. I can't remember the exact name of the one I ordered, but I think it was something like a spicy coconut chickpea soup. Really tasty. It comes with rice cakes as the bread isn't vegan, but just make sure to request them. They also have non-dairy milk so you can have a drink with your soup.

Becketts understand vegans and veganism - Edit
Becketts is my favourite café in the whole wide world, because of its friendliness and delicious soups, cakes, etc. The people who run it and work there are lovely, compassionate, warm individuals who understand what vegans are about and what veganism is about. In that part of Whitby, there is little alternative for vegans. Becketts opened in January 2007.
