Tasty pastries! - Edit
I absolutely love their bars, scones, and cinnamon buns! Their lattes are tasty and their service is fantastic! The only downside is that there’s no drip coffee (which could be a turn off for some).

Coffee and Treats - Edit
I loved everything I tried at Beards. Also super happy that is is conveniently located across the road from Tucos Taco Lounge. Perfect for a post meal coffee and dessert. Or really, just fantastic anytime of the day.

Must visit - Edit
Good espresso and matcha beverages. Excellent pastries, varying from savory to rich, and none too sweet. Lovely sitting space out front. No customer washroom, at least during covid times.

Great little vegan bakery! - Edit
The cinnamon buns weren't quite ready when I arrived, so I had a macadamia flat white and snickerdoodle sandwich cookie while waiting. The staff was friendly, the store was clean and the cinnamon buns were worth the wait.

There is something for everyone here! I absolutely always get the raspberry oat bar and usually a donut if they have some. I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy.

So good you want to buy everything! - Edit
We took a detour to visit this bakery and it was very much worth it! Everything looks so good that it is very hard to choose! In the end we took a cinnamon bun, raspberry oat bar, ginger cookie and a salty scone with cheese (very good cheese!) Everything was delicious, the best! Minimalistic interieur. Quiet place.

Best vegan bakery - Edit
I love this place more than I should. Across the street from two other amazing vegan places all owned by the same owner. I have tried everything on the menu and can say without any hesitation that each item is delicious. Also sell’s the best homemade vegan cheese I have ever tried, fresh juices and lots of tasty hot drinks. Everyone that works here are great and the place itself is so cute and artsy. Love this place.

Best vegan desserts. - Edit
Went here after lunch at Tucos and my god, the desserts are delicious. The raspberry oat bars are one of the best things I’ve put in my mouth. So happy a place like this exists, and it’s in proximity to Flurples and Tucos Taco Lounge. All vegan. I definitely suggest you come here and try their baked good. One of my fave places.

Amazing Vegan Bakery in Sudbury - Edit
This is my new favourite place in town. I’ve tried so many of the baked goods in the past couple weeks and I’ll definitely keep going there. My favourite days are Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, which is when they have donuts!

The best cupcakes - Edit
We bought cupcakes on a whim as it was someone’s birthday and this is the closest we could find to cake. Man were they ever good. They were confetti birthday cake flavour with the best strawberry buttercream. I usually don’t like cupcakes and these were amazing

Hey There, Sweetie - Edit
Cute little all vegan bakery and coffee bar. I've heard it's owned by the people who run vegan, Tucos Tacos, across the street. Favourites are cinnamon buns, cupcakes, and bars. I also had a ginger molasses cookie and it was awesome with a real gingery taste. Mmhm. I want another just thinking about it.

Best Vegan Coffee Shop - Edit
On our road trips down from Thunder Bay we always stop at Beards after our Tucos nacho fix! It's so nice to be able to order anything from the menu and know it's vegan. We don't eat vegan baked treats at home, so Beards is always a treat. Pun intended!

Brownification - Edit
Super simple bakery with delicious baked goods like brownies and cookies. It wasn't busy and you just pick from whatever you see so it's really easy and fast to process customers. The smaller amount of baked goods just made the decision easier for me.

An inviting space (and an even more inviting Menu!) - Edit
When you walk in you will immediately appreciate the clean, crisp minimalist design. The baked goods are all presented behind a shiny glass window, beckoning you to taste them. Quite a large variety. Upon tasting these treats, you will not be able to distinguish them from the non-vegan variety. The only noticeable difference is that they are much, much better. On warm summer days they roll up their large front windows and a light breeze enters. There is a long table with bright yellow chairs around it, which invites its patrons to sit and commune over their treats. My go-to is an Americano with cinnamon and almond milk. Their cupcakes are so visually impressive it's hard to eat them. I felt like a true millenial when I found the need to take a selfie in their establishment. However, I was not the only one. I find comic relief that their door says "no hipsters allowed". They laugh at themselves, these are the best people. Great service, haven't once entered Beards without the staff greeting me with a big smile. If you're lucky you will find the owner happily bouncing her baby in her sling to the wonderful musical playlist that they play. She glows. The thing about Beards is you aren't just eating a tasty vegan treat and washing it down with a hot cup of fair-trade roast. Everything is made with love. You feel it. When you purchase something at Beards the money stays local, with a couple that has livened up Sudbury's vegan community. The same ones that graced us with "Cosmic Dave's Vinyl Emporium" and of course across the street "Tuco's Taco Lounge". If you haven't been to Beards, you are surely missing out.
