All vegan menu - Edit
This one was kind of interesting to find. I think we might have come in the back entrance down past a car salvage yard. It’s actually on quite a smart new development. The place is light and airy with friendly staff. The menu is great. The French toast is soooo good. The bread is also good. We didn’t have one but the stuffed croissants looked good. Nice chill vibe for breakfast or lunch although we came mid afternoon. Everything we had was tasty. Well worth a visit.

Soooooo Nice - Edit
Well worth a trip here. Place is clean. Service is friendly and ingredients are quality. Had the stuffed croissant (scrambled tofu and tomato) which was outstanding. Also tried the Irish rarebit which was fun to try. Coffee was also great. Will definitely be coming back and trying more of the menu

Amazing Coffee and Fab Food - Edit
This is such a welcome addition to the Hackney vegan and coffee scene! They make the best coffee I’ve had in the area and the pastries are excellent, including a hot savoury croissant filled with mushrooms and I Am Nut OK MinerThreat cheese - delicious!

New Vegan Hot Spot in Hackney - Edit
Brilliant new café just outside Hackney Downs, so on busy days, if there are no empty tables, one can get a take away to enjoy in the park ! I've been to Bean's Cafe twice now and tried two of their toasted sandwiches which I enjoyed both times. Nice selection of soft drinks and healthy sodas too!

Delicious brunch - Edit
You're spoilt for choice at this light and airy cafe. We enjoyed the rarebit - probably the first place to serve it with quinoa salad on the side but it was delicious! - the breakfast bap and the (enormous) savoury croissant special. They use cashew cheese from I Am Nut OK to great effect. Good coffee too.

Delightful - Edit
A delightful café. A bright airy space with tables inside and outside. Friendly welcome. I only had a pain au raisin and a matcha latte but the sandwiches looked good and the menu is enticing.
