Great Acai Bowls - Edit
Acai bowls have become my latest obsession and Beach Bowls really knows how to assemble and deliver a tasty and healthy treat.
Read moreYou select one of three sizes with the regular being the perfect portion for two or one hearty meal for one. I went with the Peanut Butter acai bowl ($12) since these make for an incredible combination. Bowls include granola, bananas, and either honey or agave (the latter is my preferred vegan option), and I added on strawberries for an additional kick in fruit content.
The acai blend was fantastic and the toppings made the bowl effortlessly delicious. I was able to finish it all by myself and believe me, it was hard not to have it all in one sitting.
While not really a dine-in type of spot, Beach Bowls makes a great grab-and-go stop and you can enjoy it at one of the many public benches located in the area.

There are only a few local acai bowl places I like to frequent and this is one of them. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from and also offer agave to sweeten instead of honey. Vegan protein is also available if you’re so inclined. I had the almond butter acai bowl today with coconut shreds as my extra topping. Very delicious. I would say the shop in Redondo is a bit run down and could use some updating. Overall, not a bad place to pick up some delicious acai bowls.
