Good atmosphere underwhelming food - Edit
Nice place with beautiful view of the water. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, food was underwhelming. May have just been what I ordered.
Read moreFondue was reasonable, portion size was good, the cauliflower was very average and I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get the poppers instead. Overall worth visiting again

Good for sharing plates - Edit
I love the vegan big breakfast here for a post walk brunch spot. They also have gluten free vegan cabinet options including cheesecake, brownie, chocolate cake and peanut butter cups. For dinner, we got the vegan nachos, sticky soy sesame cauliflower, charred market vegetables, chunky fries and the sticky date pudding. The sticky date pudding was a bit dry and small for the price.

wish I skipped this meal - Edit
Bad food and service. Burger tasted awful and was served on a bun having strange texture. Salad was missing most of the fresh components so it tasted stale, salty, and processed. Definitely, not returning here. Would have been much better off if this meal was skipped.

Cute little beach restaurant - Edit
Casual beach restaurant with relaxed service, we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve eaten. Had the cheese fondue, chicken burger (the chicken is flat firm coated tofu not what I was expecting but good!) they make their own cheese for things too and have a few cakes. Can make a vegan spider too

Great vegan options for lunch and dinner! - Edit
This restauarnar serves meat and fish, but has a lot of great vegan options. I love the 70s atmosphere of orange and brown clouds, 70s wallpaper and lot of old things from that time used as decoration. For lunch we had a bagel with vegan cream cheese and raspberry jam and for dinner we had vegan. nachos followed by a vegan three cheeses fondue! Several vegan dessert options too. The food was great and the service a bit slow, but the restaurant was also very busy.

What a great place! All the menu items are identified as vegan/vegetarian/nut free/gluten free options. Food was excellent and it was very busy, despite the wild and windy weather!

Fantastic - Edit
Had the Vegan Vegan brunch, the green goddess smoothie and a brownie. All really good, and the brunch was especially noteworthy for being different than the more standard/boring vegan options I find at restaurants. The corn fritters were nice for something different.

One of the best vegan breakfasts - Edit
Fun cafe on the waterfront. The food is delicious, with Mexican north american food. highly recommend the 'vegan vegan' breakfast, most definitely the best vegan breakfast in wellington. and also delicious chocolate chip cookies. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Can get busy on the weekends

Interesting options - Edit
Most of the food we tried here was great - the ‘chicken’ burger with fries and aioli, and the cheese wonton especially (putting plum sauce with them was a great move). Good cider selection too. The vegan fondue was a bit disappointing though - it tasted like Angel Food cheese sauce, which is nice but I was expecting something more unique. The fondue pot didn’t come over a flame like I had expected either - maybe because I only ordered the small one? Location is nice right by the waterfront and not a long walk from the main CBD.

Great vegan range, overpriced - Edit
Really impressed by the amount of vegan options. Cashew cheese vegan pesto vegan sour cream available. They can veganise any of their drinks (including milk shakes). I applaud their integration of veganism and that was great to see. The food is very yummy too! Great to take non vegans to. Downside is that the food is quite over priced and it isn’t paired with the best service. However, we did go on a very sunny day during the weekend so I understand that this is peak hour for them. They have a great location also.

Great food and location - Edit
We had breakfast here, outside, on a warm summer morning. I had trouble choosing from their huge range of vegan options. I went with the creamy mushrooms on grain bread toast. Excellent food, and I’m going back again before we leave to try more of their food.

Wow!
Read moreOne of my favorite places in Wellington.
The food is amazing, and don't even get me started on the interior design.
The only problem you may find is it's so popular, they run out of available tables sometimes and you need to go somewhere else.
Pros: Beautiful cafe in a perfectly suited location, very yummy food, did someone say cocktails for lunch?
Cons: Very full
