Great local selections and snacks/meals for all diets! - Edit
I've started to go out of the way to shop here because they really do have fairly priced organic and local produce that beats the local chain health food store. They've started to carry a great selection of artisan vegan cheese & butter and are always open to ordering something special for you!
The shop follows along the same format and has the same products of any other natural market. One section contains grocery items leading into the beauty and health section. The selections and space a nice size and offers a variety of products to browse and choose from. They sell local and organic produce as well as locally made foods (cheeses, honey, etc).
The Boone Community is so lucky to have Bare Essentials offering organic food, great supplements and amazing customer service.
If you need some help finding the perfect supplement there is always someone very knowledgeable around to help you.
This grocery store is also amazing generous to offer case club to the community.
Bare Essentials has been the lifeblood of healthy products in the Boone area for a couple decades. It grew out of a food co-op in the days when there were only traditional supermarkets in the area. It's continued the customer centered orientation, providing not only healthy products that are continuously reviewed for quality but also an amazingly strong customer service orientation. It's great to go into a store where you are remembered and even better to know the owners and staff will do all they can to fulfill your requests. Great products. Great service. I highly recommend.
