Freaking delicious - Edit
I did not realize that it would be pretty challenging to find vegan dishes here. But I stumbled upon Be An and they had all vegan and veggie options. They even had green juices and kombucha. The food was amazing!!! I would post a pic if it let me.

Yeah very difficult to find vegan places in a city with literally thousands. Which district are you staying in? It’s almost like this is a fake review.

Nice option in the city - Edit
I enjoyed the food here, even though it is on the pricier side compared with others in HCMC. We had: the braised sausage and mushrooms (very nice! Would recommend), broken rice (which was nice), and the glass noodles with xo sauce (not enough sauce 😞). Overall, I was happy with the food and the ambience inside, I would probably rate about a 4.5 ⭐. I enjoyed the jasmine boba too! But not the option 4 (can't remember the name)

Great but no cheqp - Edit
Visited twice, had a noodle bowl and later on a hot pot, crazy delicious however can be pricey, so if you are on a budget it might be a problem.

Upmarket option for HCMC - Edit
This was a more classy affair for HCMC which the prices reflected. The dishes were clearly labelled with allergens and the vegan milk teas were great

Everyone loved their dishes. The"Crab Noodle soup my wife had could have had just a bit more "crab" flavor she thinks. I thought it was excellent 👌 😀.

Go eat here! - Edit
1 vegan and 2 non-vegans and we all loved this place! It was one of the best meals we all had over 3 weeks of travel. The restaurant is lovely and upscale but the pricing was so reasonable (cheap to western standards, a bit above average for Vietnam).

Good place, expensive - Edit
The quantity of food is good. However there were barely any vegetables and mostly only mushrooms in the dish. Good thing is they mark dishes with eggs also separately in the menu for lacto-vegetarians like me, that helps. Tried the noodles which were the chef's recommendation. Pho was a bit bland. Service was quick and place had a quiet and nice vibe.

Pricey but really good - Edit
The food was great. Pricewise it was a bit expensive, but for the location of the restaurant, the tourist hotspot, and the quality of the food it makes sense. Non-vegan ingredient use is clearly marked in the menu. Staff was friendly.

A last minute find - made our night - Edit
Looked this up on happy cow after wandering around looking for food for too long. It knocked our socks off in a good way. Hidden away a little bit but worth the stop if you're in the area, especially to get away from the hustle and bustle. The juices were great, try the strawberry and guava.

Ordered the crispy korean noodles which were quite nice but a bit too heavy. Good but not the best. This place is also extremely expensive, paid 420000 dong for two people.

Very cute restaurant and good food - Edit
We went without a reservation on a holiday weekend Saturday and were seated immediately but ymmv. It was fairly busy and the other customers were dressed nicely. We had the pate with bread and it was amazing, as was everything we ate. Menu clearly states which dishes contain egg

Wow - Edit
Beautiful restaurant. Seems like higher end vegetarian food but the prices are decent. Not sure if everything is vegan. I had the bún riêu be an. Never tried a bún riêu before and it was delicious. The broth is a lot more citrusy than a pho.

Not giving 5 stars because it states it's a vegetarian café. But I would have!

Hidden gem of Saigon - Edit
Be An is unlike any other vegetarian restaurants that I've been to. Very creative in the way they prepare their foods, there is no fake meat, it's just vegetables but taste so gooddd. Their Pho and broken rice, I swear, it has its all, the taste, the presentation, the authenticity of the dish. Their fish sauce (vegetarian of course) hands down, the tastiest vegetarian fish sauce. It just brings the dish together. Their Hue noodle, or even different kinds of rolls are worth trying too.

Cons: Quite hard to find, located inside Saigon Garden
