Breakfast
Vegetarian bed and breakfast in Zadar. Start your day with a healthy, bountiful breakfast buffet at the communal table in the garden. Then take an excursion to the town, on a nature hike, or for a boat ride.

Lovely and amazing place to stay (and eat) - Edit
Griet and Anri made us feel very comfortable at all times. Starting the days with a great breakfast. Caring about how we plan our day. They also offer vegetarian/vegan dinner, sailing and hiking trips at times. It’s also possible to come for breakfast only. Attentive and familiar hosts, great location with a beautiful garden - what more can you ask for - Highly recommended :)

Perfect! - Edit
We had a very lovely stay at Kuća Bajlo. It was a bit of a spare of the moment decision, but one that we don't regret. In fact, we'd love to go back, and we encourage everybody to try this hostel!
Read moreThe house was very nice, clean and had a great atmosphere. The rooms were big, and we were fortunate enough to get a room with an ocean view and a balcony with chairs.
The breakfast was very delicious - out of this world, in fact. It was definitely made with love💗 The garden (in which the guests are allowed), was also very nice with fruit trees, herbs and all sorts.
Our hosts were very friendly and informative concerning all the questions, we had about the area, Croatia on so forth.
We would recommend this place to everybody!
Pros: Great food, Clean everywhere, Great location
Cons: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing

Bajlo on the Beach - Edit
Anri and Griet were the perfect hosts. I spent a splendid few days in their company at B&B Bajlo and enjoyed my time there so much that I hope to return next year.
Read moreThe day began with a superb vegan breakfast, starting with fresh herbal tea picked from their herb garden and ending with a delicious home-baked tart or cake.
The place itself is modern and spotlessly clean and is situated a couple of minutes away from the beach, where I swam almost every day.
Zadar old town is only about 20 minutes away on foot, a pleasant walk along the coast. All in all it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay with glorious warm weather.
Pros: Friendly hosts, clean rooms, fabulous garden
Cons: None, nil, nada

best vegetarian breakfast ever - Edit
very nice B&B with lovely garden, close to the beach and walking distance from historical city center of Zadar. The breakfast buffet is incredible, best I ever had. Lots to do in the surroundings: swimming, snorkeling, diving, sailing, hiking, cycling, visiting cultural heritage. Griet & Anri do everything to make your stay the very best, I absolutely recommend this B&B.

A Highlight of Our Trip - Edit
We ended up staying in Zadar longer than we’d planned because we enjoyed staying here so much. Griet and Anri’s house is located in Arbanasi, a quiet suburb of Zadar. It’s a 15-minute walk (or 5-minute bike ride) from the old town, which is easily explored in a day, and it makes for a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Griet and Anri organise a lot of excursions: they took us and their other guests along to hike on Ugljan (the island just across the Zadar Channel). Unfortunately we didn’t have time to join their second hike in the Velebit mountains two days later, but they were very helpful with information for our own day trips to Paklenica and Krka National Parks, and lent us maps and brochures.
Read moreEvery morning, Griet prepares a lovely breakfast buffet with bread, juices, smoothies, jams, cheese (including vegan), granola, fresh fruit, muffins, and the day’s specials. Nearly everything was homemade, often with fruit and vegetables from their own garden, and there were lots of vegan options too. Griet cooks dinner once a week when there are enough people staying, but as we were there in low season, we headed to the old town to eat. The vegan options there were a bit limited in October, so I’d probably use the shared kitchen and cook our own meals next time.
The house itself is modern and clean with a large garden at the front and back and comfortable rooms furnished with a lot of attention to detail. Ours had a balcony with a view of the sea. Each room has its own bathroom, usually accessed through a shared hallway.
The next time we’re in Dalmatia, we’ll definitely stay here again and make it our base for exploring the region.
Pros: Incredibly nice and helpful owners, Great food, Attention to detail

another lovely stay at Kuca Bajlo - Edit
Lovely stay with Anri and Griet. Start the day with a homemade vegetarian breakfast and plan where to go on an excursion with the help of Griet and Anri, who have lots of info about the region. Or spend a day lounging at one of the quiet beaches nearby where the locals also go for a swim. The b&b is walking distance from the centre of Zadar or you can rent a bike from Griet and Anri. They organize a sailing boat excursion that is absolutely worthwile, as is the vegetarian buffet that is offered every week.

Simply the best - Edit
Anri and Griet from B&B Kuca Bajlo treat their guests like Kings and Queens. Their home is your home! The rooms are spacious, clean, modern looking and have their own balcony and bathroom. There is a common kitchen downstairs with an adjacent porch where breakfast is served. The roof of the porch can open or close depending on the weather. Every morning Griet prepares a healthy, varied and very tasty vegetarian buffet breakfast using ingredients they grow in their own beautiful garden. Natural fruit juice and fresh smoothies, freshly brewed herbal tea, oatmeal preparations, fresh youghurt, home made granola, home made jams,... too much to name it all.
Read moreThe B&B is located close to the sea and within walking distance from Zadar. They have bikes for rent. This location is an excellent base for many destinations within Croatia. Griet provides you with lots of interesting info to make your daily trip as enjoyable and complete as possible.
I'm sure you won't leave without one or more jars of her home made jams or herbal tea mixtures. I didn't!
B&B Kuca Bajlo is simply the best!
Pros: excellent food, very friendly owners, clean, spacious, complete
Cons: can't think of any cons
