Not awesome for vegans

My mom chose this place. There aren't a lot of vegan options. Mains and desserts had no vegan options at all but the smaller sharable plates had a few. Vegan options are mostly just pita/flatbread, hummus and other dips, and roasted cauliflower. It's nothing special, though the cauliflower was really good. The hummus was fine, the bread was just bread. Everything is too expensive. Lemonade was €6 and was nothing special. Server had a bit of a weird, overly fake happy attitude though they were kind. Personally would not go back.

Find somewhere else

Please listen to the other 1 star reviews. I ate here only because someone else in my family made a reservation.

Limited vegan options, very bland falafel (with far too much coriander), and bland pita bread, hummus, tahini, and expensive and overpriced food/drinks. The only good thing was the couple pieces of cauliflower/pickled beet that came with the falafel.

Waiter made a rude comment about veganism when mentioned. Far too warm inside the restaurant.

For wannabes

Staff is slow, they put coriander everywhere, Fattousch lacks pomegranate. Humus is salty, Muhammara sweet, bread bland.

Middle Eastern food for white people

There was no flavour, I was very disappointed with the food I got. My avocado hummus tasted like canned chickpeas and I don’t think they added tahini because you couldn’t taste it. The baba ganoush was just okay. There was no seasoning, and it lacked all of the things that make Middle Eastern food so delicious. It was also expensive as sin. Vegan options are not marked, and when I told the waiter I am vegan he was confused and said “all of these are vegan, they are just vegetables and feta.” I had to explain that I do not eat cheese, which was returned with a look of judgement. The staff had pretty low knowledge of the menu and the experience overall did not match the price point. Heed happycow’s warnings and stay away!

Fancy but not very vegan friendly

The restaurant itself looks very fancy and a lot of people are eating there. However, not much options for vegans apart from the hummus, of course🤷‍♀️, the salad and apparently the cauliflower dish.
But the prices are quite high for what you get, which is a same.
Making hummus is one of the easiest thing and costs almost nothing…

Cons: Poor in vegan options, Expensive

Location is great, at least - try to cope with the menu!

Very mixed impression. Got warm food, yes. Somewhat lost in the menu and ...

Pros: Loacation., Vegan options., Local wine.

Cons: Hypercomplex menu. PDF to be downloaded., Allergenes to be memorized., Staff not really helpful - though friendly.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had

Vegans, stay away! I have to warn you about this place because of the following no-gos based on my personal experience three weeks ago. First, their falafels tasted like fish; They seem to use the same frying fat for everything! Some of their drinks contain honey, which is not mentioned on the menu. I found out when asking about the amount of sugar in their home-made ice tea. Furthermore, it is totally overpriced; You find other places with Middle Eastern food with a better quality and fairer prices in Luxembourg City. Finally, there is a huge construction site next to their terrace; Enjoy its noises on a sunny afternoon. Luckily, I did not pay for this bullshit because I was invited; I will never go back.

Cons: Vegans are not safe here., Overpriced, Nothing is organic.
