Not vegan or particularly veggie friendly but nice for a drink

Lovely place with friendly staff but the only food that was vegan was crisps. For vegetarians though there are some cakes and biscuits like most Italian cafes but nothing more.

No vegan options

I went here to do some work on my laptop. Had a juice smoothie, which was decent. When I asked the waiter for vegan items he said nothing was vegan, but they had a veggie burger which was vegetarian. In any case, this place is fine for a drink or something but shouldn’t be listed on the Happy Cow app.

A nice café

We had coffee with soy latte a couple of times, but unfortunately no vegan options from the pastry menu (Cornetto, croissant etc.)

One visit we had lunch, and there is a veggie burger that can be made vegan by switching the burger bread for normal bread, and skipping the mayo/sauce.

It came with potato and fried tomato and aubergine, and was alright.

Ok lunch spot

Allergens are clearly marked and the waiter knew ‘vegano’, had the spaghetti with spicy olive oil and sautéed greens. Easy spot if you’re with meat eating friends. Wait staff was friendly. Veggie burger not vegan.

Pros: A few vegan options- pasta, sautéed veggies, Convenient location

Cons: Limited options

not for vegans

I should’ve read the happy cow reviews before going that’s for sure! I quickly checked HC this morning for a brunch place nearby our Air bnb and this was the first place that came up. aaaaand we got coffee (with soy milk though!) and left. On their menu each item has a key identifying what allergens are in each dish (I’ll upload a pic). The brunch menu didn’t have a single vegan option and none that I could see could be made vegan. The staff was also very inattentive (I know it’s europe but slower than usual) and we sat there for a while waiting to be helped before deciding to get take away coffee.

I’d strongly advise for vegans to steer clear.

Good service, nice food

The wait staff were great. Nothing is marked as vegan on the menu but about a third of it can easily be adapted or the staff are willing to ‘experiment’ with their adaptations. Well worth the visit

Better than lead to believe

I was cautious to eat here due to negative reviews but as soon as I told the waiter we’re “vegano” he was more than happy to point out what could be adapted and how to cater to us. We had the steamed artichoke entree and aglio oli for mains and both were delish!

not vegan friendly

Note to self: always read comments on Happy Cow before choosing a restaurant. This has no vegan options. It has a veggie burger with milk and eggs, and 1 or 2 appetizers.
They promised me they could make the veggie burger without milk and eggs and I trusted them. Still, I didn’t really like the burger. Don’t recommend it.

Vegan burger

They had nothing vegan on the meny but one vegetarian burger. It was a chickpea patty and was no problem to make it vegan.

Nothing marked vegan here.

When I arrived at the restaurant, there wasn't even an English menu. No vegan comments anywhere. The kitchen had to make something simple up.
