Nice venue - Edit
We were too late to get sandwiches, which looked like there were some great possibilities. So we had the vegan Dare cheese and fruit board and were quite pleased. There were some really great looking pastries in the case but we didn't try any. The place itself is a bit of a book adventure and worth the time.

The Chef is Vegan!!! - Edit
So there are lots of vegan options and everything can be made vegan! It’s like a bar, bookstore and restaurant rolled into one! With lots of character and spaces for reading. I recommend reservations especially if you have a party of more than 3-you May be able to score one of the cool tables that feels like a living room.

Absolutely Devine! - Edit
This spot is just one of a kind. I would call it a "do not miss". The vegan cheese and fruit board with Dare vegan chz (one of the best vegan cheeses IMO) was high quality and so fun, and the service was stellar. They have champagne flights and tea service, great looking salads and some vegan desserts, all served at little tables on real dishes in a fantastic bookstore. It was like temporarily visiting a fantasy world - I was only hoping if there was a disaster of some kind, I'd be stuck there with all those books and refreshments in that cool space. It did get a little congested later on a Saturday afternoon so I would suggest going on the earlier side.

Brilliant Combination - Edit
With quite a number of food items on the menu that are either vegan or can be made vegan (those were clearly marked on the menu) as well as some vegan-friendly champagnes (sadly those were not noted as such but thankfully there are resources such as barnivore.com available to confirm), combined with a unique space, I’ll definitely be going back again. The “Gone With The Cheese” included several vegan cheese, fresh fruit, nuts, preserves, and baguette….perfect with a good bottle of champagne! The service was great and we were able to browse the books afterwards with our champagne.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan menu options
Cons: Noting vegan champagnes on the menu would help
