Set the standard

I will always have high standards for the way jackfruit is prepared because of Batch’s divine BBQ pulled “pork” jackfruit sandwich.

Just three vegan options available.

Out of the four “grass fed” options, only three are vegan. The veggie pot pie is vegetarian.

Be sure to tell them you want the vegan option.

I had the Impossible burger, typical and just okay. Salad was available as a side.

Way better than we imagined

We stumbled across this place when we saw that the other place we wanted to go was closed. They had a big sign in the street advertising veg options. The service was fantastic and we both ordered the BBQ Jackfruit sandwiches and loved them! The fries were also tasty and they have a great selection of beers and other drinks and they even gave us a free homemade mixed shot that tasted like sweet cinnamon apples. If you’re looking for southern style food and hospitality, check out Batch!

Pros: Excellent and friendly service, Fun atmosphere, Several great vegan options

Some vegan options

I went there and I got the bbq pulled jackfruit sandwich which was very good. The impossible burger sadly comes with dairy based aioli so you have to request ketchup (wish they had a vegan aioli) which is what my friend got

Pros: Good downtown location, Good place to eat with non-vegan friends/family

Cons: Expensive, Not many vegan options
