Serves meat, vegan options available. Vegan choices are clearly labeled on the menu and include mushroom & truffle risotto (a must-try), an orzo dish and penne. The soup and many of the appetizers are also vegan. The chefs are happy to veganize as many dishes as they can. Uses vegan butter and Parmesan from the health food shop across the road. Open Mon-Sun 6:00pm-12:30am.

Some vegan options marked on the menu including a shrimp salad, which never inspires confidence. I ordered the mushroom risotto based on Happy Cow recommendations and specified vegan. I’m not at all sure it was vegan, and had a ‘stretch’ to it I’ve only seen with cheese. Asked two different waiters what was in it and was told ‘mushrooms, I don’t know what else’ and ‘chef’s secret’. Fried courgette came with yoghurt. Certainly the most expensive meal I’ve had on Skiathos.

Lovely place in the old town - Edit
A busy place with a nice terrace, both the atmosphere and the staff are lovely. They have clearly marked options of what can be made vegan and the waiters are ready to offer vegan alternatives. Really enjoyed the dinner here.

Lovely pappardelle - Edit
We went to Basilikos on our first day on Skiathos. We had a delicious creamy mushroom and zucchini pappardelle, would definitely recommend. I don’t know if the appetizer and dessert were vegan, but they were offered from the house, which was very nice.

Tastiest food in skiathos - Edit
Menu has a handful of veg options that can become vegan when requested, such as by using vegan parmesan in the truffle mushroom risotto. Plenty of starters naturally vegan, butter beans, mushrooms.

Without a doubt our best meal in Skiathos! - Edit
My partner had the vegetable soup and the veggie balls, I had the mushroom and truffle risotto which they made all vegan upon request. Accomodating staff and nice setting. A bit pricy but definetly worth every single penny! 👏🏼

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Took the time to explain how each dish could be made vegan with vegan butter and parmesan. The mushroom and truffle risotto was really tasty, my non-vegan family couldn’t taste a difference
