Much bigger than it looks - Edit
This artsy cool winery (refreshingly adults only) is bigger than you would think with a large seating area inside and multiple levels of outdoor space. The owner Paul confirmed that he uses NO finings for his wine. I loved the dry Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc, which are named for wild animals. There is often live music, and the free tasting includes 3 samples. You can of course get a glass or bottle, and all the bottles are refillable with ceramic corks like a premium beer bottle. I love the cute glass with the osprey logo; I am a sucker for souvenir winery glasses.
Read moreThe caterer who does the food, just up the hill, had SEVEN vegan options which were gourmet style. We took our food along because we had a busy day. The Pad Thai tacos and herb beet tostadas were incredible! There were also crispy spring rolls, Indian potato puffs called Pani Puri, a hummus/mezze plate, and fried dumplings. They also have a vegan ice cream sandwich! Reasons to return. What an unexpected find in the woods of Wurtsboro!

All their wines are supposedly vegan ( although the pourers couldn’t tell me what they used as clarifying agents) and they also have mock tails!
Read moreThe food is from a separate group but has several vegan or veganizeable options including for dessert! They have a regular menu and a seasonal menu.
Seating is plentiful outside with great views, more limited but accessible inside. Only open on weekends. They seem to have live music almost every day.
Pros: Vegan wines!, Vegan dessert!, Eco friendly
Cons: Outside seating with best view non-accessible , A little out of the way

Great vegan food and wine - Edit
The atmosphere is so cute here! They had so many wine options - you get to taste 3 for free. They also had a variety of vegan food options on the menu. I had the vegan tacos, they were so amazing! Some of the best vegan tacos I’ve had. The drinks are very affordable and the place is very eco-friendly. I definitely recommend!
