I went here for lunch on a busy weekday. They have plenty of vegan options available! The restaurant feels a little bit like a cafetaria, but not in a bad way! It’s all very relaxed, you order at the counter and pay immediately, service is quick which makes it perfect during work days. I hade a vegan burger which was delicious (but I’m a sucker for vegan 🍔)

A fresh, dynamic dining spot in this small town. Consciously focuses on serving a lot of vegetarian dishes, but also offer a broad menu. Staff are well aware of what vegan means and are happy to help you with making a choice.

No English menu or labeled vegan options, but the staff will happily explain what’s available that day. Good, light food with reasonable portions and prices. There’s plenty of seating, though the noise from nearby traffic isn’t ideal. All around, it’s a great find in a smaller town!

Barzoen might not be your typical eat out but it has so much to offer. The menu has lot's of vegetarian options and there is a chart with codes so you can see if a dish is:vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free etc..

I think Barzoen is one of of the only eat outs like this in Turnhout..

Stug personeel in een gezellige zaak - Edit
De zaak ziet er gezellig uit. Ik ben veganist en wilde wat lekkers gaan eten. Er staan enkele vegetarische gerechten op het menu en bij de vraag of ze ook geschikt waren voor veganisten werd ik een beetje stug verwezen naar het weekmenu wat een wok met tofu, witlof, salade en rijst. Niet echt een antwoord op mijn vraag maar ja... Nou hou ik niet zo van witlof maar het gerecht was verder wel oké.
