Vegan

Didn't have ANY full vegan options - Edit

When I visited a few days ago, this place said it had three vegan options: bangers and mash (with beyond meat sausage), beyond meat burger and a "honey glazed cauliflower" dish. Obviously the honey glazed cauliflower was not vegan! This put me on red alert and I made sure to ask about the other components of the bangers & mash / burger dishes. The waitress kindly did go to check and confirmed that only the sausage and burger components were vegan (i.e. the mash contained butter and milk, the bread and cheese for the burger contained egg and dairy). We had already sat down with friends so ordered the burger without bread and cheese (just with fries). This was fine but came with a pot of coleslaw that was clearly not vegan. Luckily it was contained and not touching the rest of my food, so I could still eat that, but again it made me concerned that it was not fully vegan (they put some fried onions on top which I chose not to eat in case they had butter - couldn't be bothered to ask again at that point). For nearly $30, I was not impressed by this. Our server was friendly and did bother to check with the kitchen though.
