Worst Vegan Breakfast

I went here with family for brunch, and ordered the vegan bog breakfast. They were happy to swap out the mushrooms for extra hash browns, which was good, but the meal was actively unpleasant to eat. The breakfast comes with turmeric tofu, and it tasted horribly bitter and grainy. The texture and taste were both awful. The rest of the meal, the spinach and tomato and bread and hash browns, were all mediocre. Hash browns a little under done. They also supplied Olivani spread for the bread, but in tiny plastic pottles. Absolutely not environmentally friendly or sustainable. I also had a piece of vegan cake from the cabinet. I ordered it because it's very rare for there to be a vegan cake option (I often go in for a coffee and I check.) The cake just wasn't all that good. It was dense, not very sweet, and I could easily have made better at home. The server mentioned that they don't sell the vegan breakfast often, and I can see why. You would only ever order the vegan food once, and never go back. The chefs obviously don't care and haven't taken the time to create good vegan options, and clearly haven't bothered to taste them. It wouldn't take too much to improve things, just some care and attention from the chefs. As things stand, I'm never having a meal here again. Only going to go in for the coffee, which is consistently excellent.

Cons: Awful vegan food, Inconsistent cabinet options
