Göteborgs bästa matbutik

Det är lätt att fastna i denna butiken, att bara tro att det går att komma ut med en vara är omöjligt… Erbjuder massor med varor och produkter för matlagning och hemmet (städning, hygien) samt färska grönsaker och frukter samt en de andra färska och frysta livsmedel. Köper alltid svensk quinoa i lösvikt, choklad samt nötter. Är inte billigt men det är ju också en helt annan kvalitet på varorna vilket gör det värt priserna, anser jag.

Pros: Fantastiskt utbud , Trevlig personal , Många spännande produkter

Only good food (or it used to be)

It's too bad this place (or actually places, if you count their second location opened more recently) is not fully vegan or at least vegetarian, especially since it wouldn't take a major change to turn it 100% veggie. For whatever reason they keep a few animal products in stock, but their vegan range is quite impressive. Here you find just about everything you need if you live in Götet, which, sadly, I don't. Especially appealing is their absolutely vast range of bulk products, the friendliness of staff, and the overall co-op vibe I get every time I visit Bara Bra Mat (=Just good food.. indeed!)

Update Nov 22: More plastic than neccessary, not an actual co-op, no longer accepts cash.

Bara Bra Mat

The name of the store says it all, "only good food". There is bulk food and packaged food, mostly/all organic, and very nice personnel and owners. They sell fruit and vegetables with good deals on stuff nearing its expiration date. Only thing that could be better is the prices, but for a small shop it's probably hard to compete with the bigger organic shops and supermarkets.

Pros: Friendly personnel, Organic fruits and veggies

Cons: Highish prices
