Doomie’s - Edit
Ate here when it was still called doomies and was an easy favourite. Vegan junk food (burgers, fries, etc) that hits the spot and could easily fool any meat eater. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious cheat meal foods. - Edit
This is a fun place for a vegan to grab a beer and a burger. The food is mainly fried and not healthy but we are not coming here for the salad.

Great Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
Loved the vibe at Bar Vegandale and the food was good as well. We got the Buffalo Crispy, Memphis Burger, Animal Style Fries, Garlic Butter Fries, and Fried Oreos for dessert!! Food was a little above mediocre, but I'm giving them 4 stars because we loved our server and the drinks were phenomenal! Also definitely worth it for the fried Oreos!! Loved the vegan comics all over the walls and overall had a great time here.

Amazing comfort food - Edit
The food at Vegandale is impressive. Bring your non-vegan friends, they won’t even notice it’s vegan. I tried the big V, the fried shrimps and the fried chicken. Everything was great, but what I liked the most was the breast fried chicken, really tender and tastes really similar to KFC, it’s crazy! The staff is also super nice!!!

Amazing fried chkn - Edit
I have tried a lot of vegan fried chicken over the years, but this place definitely has the best. It’s super crunchy and crispy, the consistency is just right, and everything in between. Definitely recommend this place, I would be going here more often if it weren’t just a little bit pricey.

Chickn to die for... but... - Edit
The chickn they are making is really fabulous. I grew up with KFC and this is as close as anyone has gotten to the texture (flavour is lacking a bit). Even the mashed potatoes and gravy are spot on to a KFC meal!
Read moreThis place is maybe co-owned by Doug McNish - so this is a problem (look up Vice article) and is definitely part of the "Vegandale" group of restaurants/philosophy which has its own problems (look for articles on Parkdale and Vegandale).
So great food sketchy owners. Eating great food in Toronto comes with a price! :(

Amazingly delicious burgers. Wasn't one bit surprised when the server mentioned that some people from US come to Toronto just to have the burgers here.

Vegan bar food - Edit
Love coming and supporting this business. Buffalo chickn burger is the best and the staff is kind! They forgot something once in a take out order and called me personally apologizing sincerely, great service. I'll keep coming when I'm in the area. Highly recommended this place. Non vegans will also love the Buffalo chickn burger.

Overrated - Edit
To be honest, the hype is overrated. We ordered the cheeseburger and buffalo fried chicken burger with sides of cheese/bacon fries and mac and cheese. It’s quite expensive for the quality in my opinion. The menu looks delicious but the food we received was mild and tasteless ☹️ if you are impressed with this kind of vegan confort/junk food you should definitely come to Montreal!

Good food - Edit
Went to Bar Vegandale last night and the food was great! We had the fried Mac balls which were ok but not mind blowing, the buffalo wings which were amazing and the vegan Big Mac which was tasty but tough to eat because it’s huge! The fried avocado was apparently really good too but the crispy chicken burger was was bland according to our friends.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and ordered the buffalo chicken burger. It was so delicious, 10/10. Plus the onion rings and ranch on the side were also great. Definitely recommended!

The best vegan comfort food in the city! Whenever I go to Toronto I always go to here. There vegan "big mac" is so good you won't believe it vegan and same goes with the creme brûlée. Just writing this is making me crave it.

Underwhelming Delivery - Edit
I was so excited to eat here as I saw many options for vegan comfort food, but was disappointed with all of what I sampled. The “crumbed” mac and cheese just had whole ritz crackers on top and the fries and tacos came in small portions with little flavor to show for (some salt or heat would have been nice).

New to veganism, but this place makes it an easy choice. Wish there was a location in Atlanta. Get the South in Your Mouth, Mac & Cheese balls (with a side of marinara), and the Chicken Parm sandwich.

Doomie’s in Toronto? - Edit
What a wonderful experience to not only eat Doomie’s great food, but be inside of a vegan brewery! We shared the jalapeño Poppers, Mac and cheese balls and Philadelphia cheese sandwich. The servings were generous and the beer delicious. There was a ice cream shop attached to the pub. This was my favorite stop in Toronto. If you are ever in Toronto please stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

classic vegan junk food - Edit
Love their chick'n burger, both the regular and buffalo version. Fries taste like the perfect fast food restaurant fries, and you can't go wrong with upgrading them. Do not come here expecting to have remotely healthy food though. I love the food I eat when I go there but definitely never feel great afterwards. They have a good selection of beer and a few different and interesting entrees to choose from. I recommend you try it at least once! Especially if you're craving classic vegan junk food.

Disappointing after all the hype - Edit
I had high hopes for Doomie's after reading about Vegandale but was quite disappointed by all three items that I ordered (Buffalo fries, nachos, and the chick*n fingers). The food came out quickly but everything was a bit lukewarm. I found both the nachos and chick*n fingers to be very bland and the Buffalo fries to be boring (just covered in hot sauce).

the best burger - Edit
We went here twice and were both times very impressed by the food. We had the jalapeño and mac’n’cheese balls that were truly amazing as well as the the Big Mac ... awesome! The cheese they use tastes really good! The chicken burger and pizza waffle were great as well. The desserts (ice cream and hot cookie) were very sweet but really delicious. Nice staff!

Make this Your 6ix Regular! - Edit
We adore Vegandale Brewery / Doomies! Definitely the place to go for some vegan comfort food, or a junk food binge. We want to make it our goal to try everything on the menu - so far, we've had fried mac 'n cheese balls, rangoons, chicken parm sandwich, messy pizza waffle and bacon cheese fries. We've also tried a couple of the shakes. So far, nothing has disappointed! The cheese used is so good, and the thin-cut fries are perfectly done.
