Unique & tasty Latin food! - Edit
This place is amazing! My partner and I went here for brunch, and got the Spanish meatballs, street corn, and a frozen margarita. Everything was so good! It’s a little small on the inside and very busy, so making a reservation would be a good idea. But the staff is great, the place is adorable and gets lots of natural light, and their food is super tasty and unique!

It's Pretty Good - Edit
The food here is great, and I do love an all-vegan restaurant. But nothing here was SO spectacular that I felt like I needed to go back. Honestly, I feel like this place is so hyped up and a little pricey for what you get. There are better options in the area, for sure, but I wouldn't stop anyone from trying this place.

Cons: small restaurant, outdoor seating is in a dumpster alley, pricey

Inconsistent and not very good - Edit
First time I came here I thought the food was amazing but I had been drinking before arriving and before... and during the meal. The next few times was like eating at a completely different restaurant.. where the food is bad. The last time I went the fries were so doused in salt that they weren't edible - and I like salty food. We had already complained once so when the other food came we didn't have the heart to send it back. We just paid for food we couldn't eat....just love doing that :/

incredible! get a reservation. - Edit
Went with my two non-vegan friends and ate lavishly. Got the empanadas veracruzana and the yucca frita, friends got the repollitos fritos, nachos, and the buffalo cauliflower taco (!!!). Margaritas were delicious. Finished with the tres leches cake. It does get really crowded and is super popular, so I’d recommend getting a reservation well in advance.

Superb Good - Edit
My partner and i loved everything we had! The salsa were fresh, the yucca frittes were amazing. I had never eaten tortilla soup before and am so glad i tried it. We got Mexican hot chocolate to go which was a great idea in the cold weather.
Read moreThe menu was especially good because it had items that are not typically seen in American Latin inspired restaurants, like street corn and yucca.
The atmosphere was loud and dark, which is typical for a bar but not my cup of tea. The decor was quite nice. There is a seating area in the back so you do not have to sit at the bar.
Pros: delicious soup, all vegan, non-typical Latin food
Cons: loud and dark

date night w non-veg husband - Edit
We were coming into the city for a comedy show, and we were looking for a veg-friendly place to grab a nice dinner. Someone suggested Bar Bombón, and we booked an early dinner reservation. The food was exceptional! My husband was convinced that some of the items we got were not truly vegan because of the creamy, cheese taste (of course I asked to confirm and everything was vegan)! We got a starter, 3 small plates, and the Cubano to share. We probably could have just gotten 4 starters and the starter and would have been full. Totally coming back soon!

This is a great restaurants, with warm and lowly lit atmosphere. Service was friendly and helpful in making suggestions.
Read moreI had the Nopales and Rice Enchiladas, which were fantastic. The unique ingredient for me was the roasted cactus, which I enjoyed. For dessert I had the Tres Leches Cake, which was equally rich awesome with coconut shavings.
Looking forward to coming back to sample more from the robust menu!

Heaven! - Edit
I dined at Bar Bambon for the first time and it won't be the last! I love Latin /Mexican food and it was such a delight to find this theme in a plant-based restaurant. I had the Buffalo cauliflower tacos, nachos and street corn. All amazingly flavorful and filling. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try, but that was all my belly could hold on this visit. Can wait to go back!

one of my favorite vegan restaraunts in Philadelphia - Edit
I went to this spot one night because I wanted margaritas and I'm glad I did. Everything I ordered was very good. The crab Cakes, tacos, meatballs, and margaritas were all excellent. The service was good. The price made sense. I thought the portions were fair. And I really liked the idea of having a bar/restaraunt. Not a lot of vegan-friendly spots that have a nice mixed crowd of people

Gave this place two chances, which is a lot. First time I took sloppy Joe, which wasn't tasty. Second time Peruvian potatoes, which was better. Thesis froze margaritas are great.

best Latin vegan food ! - Edit
I went with a group of 5, so we ordered and shared half of the menu! everything was really tasty! and a great variety of flavours and choices for everyone. We also ordered from the cocktail menu!. The staff were super friendly and service was quick and efficient, its one of the few places that was open from lunch through to late evening, we went to the restaurant at lunch time but was told that dining there at night they light candles and put music on to create a special relaxed experience. Would absolutely recommend !

Order the tacos and fries!!!! Really good with gluten free options except the hostess was kinda insensitive about my allergy say "that must suck being vegan and gluten free". Other than that service was okay and food was super good

Excellent Meal - Edit
The food is fantastic, the space is pleasant, and the staff is friendly. The buffalo tacos gluten free were delicious and not too heavy. GF means they dont batter and fry the cauli and they use a corn tortilla instead of flour, which makes it much lighter and very tasty. The ahi amarillo potatoes were delicious and spicy. Great drink menu.

Awesome Food and Drinks! - Edit
We actually stumbled upon Bar Bombon by accident. We were in the area looking for a vegan place that had, unbeknownst to us, shut down. I walked into the Staples and asked the guy if he ever heard of the place we were looking for...he confirmed it had shut down, but he highly recommended Bar Bombon (he was vegan) right up the street. Thanks for the recommendation, Staples Guy!

This place is great! Great Vegan Spanish food. I recommend the Cuban Sandwich. The empanadas were smaller than I thought but still worth the try. I also had the "dirty derby" drink. Delicious. For dessert I had the tres leches cake. Would definitely recommend. So goooood.

Consistently delicious food! - Edit
This vegan restaurant serves up delicious Latin-inspired foods. I'm always pleased with the dishes, portions, and prices. I look forward to my meals here but I'm wary of a couple of things: the service is not always consistent (my partner and I had dishes & drinks comped because of the incredibly slow/inattentive service one night!) and the beer menu is almost never accurate (with the waiter always apologizing for never having the beer I want because "the beer menu hasn't been updated"). Having said that, I will still happily go back to this restaurant, time after time, because the food is outstanding. (The nachos are incredible and the tres leches cake is not to be missed!) I've had romantic dinners here as well as raucous brunches so the ambiance varies depending on time of day, day of week, etc. The space is not huge but it can accommodate small groups. There is also a bar at the front of the restaurant where seating is almost always available. I believe they also have a take-out window where you can order food to go, if you're looking for quick take-out. Reservations are recommended for peak dining hours, though, if you're hoping to dine in.
