Delicious food but we were rushed out - Edit
My husband and I met friends here that we had not seen in a long time... Bar Bombon was highly recommended so we were really, really excited to try it. The food was delicious! Everything was enjoyed by the Vegan and non vegans in our group! Would have been an A+ experience but....I know it is a small place and they want to turn tables but we felt we were being rushed the entire time and it really took away from the experience... food is great but I would say don't plan on using it as a place to catch up with old friends (

This place was nothing short of amazing! Definitely a must when in Philly. The dinner crowd was a little busy, so reservations seem to be recommended...we got lucky!

Not a bad item on the menu - Edit
I believe I have tried every food item on the menu and nothing disappoints. The only real disappointment is I like to eat and the portions are too small for me.
Read moreTheir meatball appetizer is delicious. It is almost like an Italian looking dish, but it is not. The spices are what one would expect in a Latino themed restaurant.
The buffalo cauliflower tacos are good. Just enough spice to make one aware it is there. Not overpowering, just adds to the overall taste. They are not trying to win a spicy buffalo hot sauce contest.
The Cubano slider is delicious. The dill pickle and the sauce they use is a nice complement to the sandwich as a whole.
The best thing about the place is perhaps the Tres Leche cake. The coconut flavor is devine as is the dense cake. Their is a cream coconut topping that could be a dessert unto itself.
I recently had their Philly Steak empanadas. They were really good. Again, the problem is that I wanted more.
They have a lot of Latin inspired drinks. I have had a few of them and I have no complaints on that end either.
Pros: Great food, Good drinks to go with the food, Flavorful
Cons: Portions are too small for the price IMHO, Physical places is small, including the bar area, Need to go in the off hours to avoid the crowds.

This place is amazing. Everything is so delicious and the service is great. Whenever I have people in town I always make sure to reserve a spot at BBB. Price is quite reasonable for a nice dinner.

Amazing brunch!! MUST GO - Edit
First time in philadelphia and the waiter (Martin who was fantastic!) brought us a free app the hearts of palm ceviche and it was amazing! So refreshing. Then we got the philly steak empanadas (highly recommend), the tofu scramble (would have preferred this not as a sandwich), and the fried yucca (also really good). The place is really cute but a tad small. Service was great. I really liked the host as well but I don't remember his name. Tried the tres leche dessert but it wasn't great. the icing is really good but the cake is very dense and the marmalade on top is kind of sour/bitter. Don't know how to describe it.

Unique and delicious... - Edit
Wow. We really enjoyed this place. We're not used to having vegan food like this, it was very fresh and imaginative. It was like eating a typical semi-fancy restaurant that celebrates regional cuisine, that just happens to all be vegan. No annoying gimmicks or processed vegan substitutes. All good homemade food.
Read moreJalapeno rellenos - mine were just slightly undercooked in the fryer but the filling was sure delicious.
Peruvian yucca - holy mother of flavor. So amazing.
Harvest guacamole - good but we questioned paying so much for it.
Buffalo cauliflower taco - an absolute flavor explosion, perfect textures and seasoning.
Hearts of palm ceviche - good but not that memorable.
Blood orange mocktail with thyme - we slurped them right down. Super super good.
So, was everything 100% perfect? No! But this place gets a 5-star rating from me. They are doing vegan food right and it was *mostly* fantastic.
Pros: Inventive dishes, Authentic Latin flavor, Homemade food

What a surprise - Edit
Found by accident after filling up at Hip City Veg up the block. Had to go in and only took some empanadas for my flight home. They saved the day on the plane and were delicious. Great cocktails and coffee. If this were near me I'd be there almost everyday.

Delicious take on Latin food - Edit
I brought a group here after a long day of work, and it was exactly what we needed. Chill ambience, amazing food and drinks. We started with sweet fried plantains, served with a drizzle of deliciously salty aioli. I ordered the prix fixe menu, which was an incredible deal for $35. It included fresh-made tortilla chips and guacamole; a salad with beets, greens, and pepitas; two crispy "Philly cheese steak" empanadas; two soft tacos filled with the best Buffalo cauliflower I've ever had; and a creamy tres leches cake. To drink, I opted for the salted grapefruit margarita, which was a perfect blend of tart, mildly sweet, and of course, salty. Finished off with a delicious latte.

Vegan Latin food and drink bliss - Edit
Wow- this place is nothing short of astounding! All vegans will love it, but non-vegans will be convinced that vegan food is tasty and satisfying with flavor explosions and drinks all around!
Read moreI’m not a big fan of drinking much, but this bar makes that all melt away. They have so many fresh juice flavors to make cocktails dazzle, it’s amazing! If you don’t like the menu, they are extremely accommodating for a drink of your liking!
Anyhow, the food is delightful. It’s imptrssive it’s not boring beans and rice and jazzed with avocado. Just a stellar selection to make your mouth and tastebuds razzle dazzle with delight! The menu changes around with seasons and updates, but nachos and tacos and enchiladas are always there with various fillings. The desserts are sweetly satisfying and not boring. The prices are reasonable and the portions just right. Another great point is service is swift and helpful. The menu marks gluten free possibilities, which are many.
Love this place and can’t wait to go back!

We decided to give this place a try during a recent visit to Philadelphia. It was really delicious! The prices are a little high, but we decided to give the nachos with the chicken a try. They were really good, and really well loaded -- there were savory bits of toppings in every bite. We had our small children with us, and it didn't really seem like a very "family-friendly" restaurant (a little small, a little quiet, no other children), so my husband and I decided we'd try more items on the menu next time we are in town, child free. While we didn't sample any other dishes, everything we saw come out looked delicious, and the portions looked relatively large.

Everything looked so good on the menu, I had a hard time deciding. Chose the Cubano Club and it was not only really good, it was also a ton of food. So glad I tried this place. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Philadelphia.

Had the cubano sandwich. Very good! It tastes like real chicken! Also had the sweet plantains, they weren’t anything special. I am definitely skipping the sweet plantains next time, but I am DEFINITELY coming back!
