Delicious! - Edit
Super impressed with this place. I had a Bloody Mary, shared the nachos, and my partner had the chopped salad and I had the Buffalo cauliflower tacos. All were delicious and would definitely recommend!

Bar Bombon - Edit
Bar Bombon offers some extremely delicious vegan food that will leave your non-vegan friends you drag here wanting more. The highlights here, imo, are the vegan cauliflower tacos (SO delicious and balanced well with avocado), the vegan crispy potatoes, and the vegan corn. Prices are reasonable for the caliber of the food.

Fancy eating at Rittenhouse - Edit
A great experience. The food was great, but I especially like their cocktails. At most bars I never feel comfortable ordering cocktails, because I dont trust they'll use vegan ingredients. But at a vegan place, I can put my mind at ease. Very expensive though.

Better Options in Philly - Edit
I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't.
Read moreAfter exploring their menu online this place looked great. Sadly it is overpriced and small portions. Plus the food wasn't anything that I would say I had to have again.
PROS:
~The queso dip & mushroom ceviche was delicious!
~They offer outdoor seating during Covid.
NEG:
~Their "spicy" pickles was a small dish of flavorless pickles.
~I ordered one of their $20 hot chocolates which was supposed to come with marshmallows (which is why I ordered the hot chocolate drink) and they told me they were out after they delivered the drink. Plus its supposed to come with a blanket and they never gave it to me I had to ask for it as we were about to leave.
~The server was pretty much non existent our whole time there. We had to keep calling them over.
I would suggest looking at another place such as black bird if you are visiting Philly!
Pros: Queso is delicious , Mushroom Ceviche is a must try
Cons: Expensive , Service is average , Small portions

Favorite vegan spot in Philly! - Edit
If the only thing they had that was good were the Philly cheese steak empanadas I’d eat here everyday BUT everything they make here is sensational. This is my new reigning champion of vegan restaurants in Philly!

Very cute intimate interior (not great for covd, but otherwise usually wonderful). All the food I’ve tried is amazing. The nachos are especially great. It can be a bit pricey, so my SO and I save meals here for special nights!

Maybe better as a sit-down meal - Edit
I ordered the hearts of palm ceviche , tostones, and Spanish meatballs for take out. The hearts of palm ceviche and tostones were lacking in any type of flavor. Usually the tostones has a little bit of salt and the sauce is very flavorful but this had neither, it was also on the soggy side but probably because of the carry out container. The Spanish meatballs were really good though, the sauce was delicious. All in all, I would try it again but not as take out.

Nice spot w/ outdoor seating. A friend and I split a lunch combo, then each had a spicy beet margarita. The guac was plentiful. Definitely going back to try more of the menu.

Bar Bombon has so many vegan options to chose from that it's hard to make up your mind. We went for 6 dishes in total, which was a bit much for 2 people.

Amazing! - Edit
You have no idea how good vegan food is until you try it. Buffalo cauliflower tacos, “traditional” tacos, cheesesteak empanadas, amazing guac, fried plantains, and a beet/jalapeño margarita... seriously we tried almost one of everything! Cute space, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Great experience!

Damn Fine - Edit
Went here with a few friends on a busy night, somehow we got a reservation and a really great table. I got the plantains and the nachos, and that was more than enough food despite the tapas-sized plates, would recommend if you're looking for something really satisfying and different than most places!

Creative and tasty Mexican food. - Edit
We had the gaucamole, crumbed corn, buffalo cauliflower tacos, sliders, jalapeno poppers, and mince empanadas. The food was made really well, although I felt the cauliflower tacos were a little lacklustre and I needed to add hot sauce to compensate. The corn cobs were amazing! I don't know what they put on the outside of it, but it's super delicious. Just wish some of the starters were bigger because they were expensive for what they were.

Stunning Vegan Carribean - Edit
Philly is becoming a go to destination for world class vegan cuisine. Vedge and V-Street (my personal favorite) of the same owners/pioneers sets the bar very high. Yet here we are in a wonderful bar/dining room space in a pristine city location dining on vegan Cubano sliders, Spicy cauliflower tacos, an absolutely sensational, citrus zingy hearts of palm ceviche, loving every mouth watering moment of it!!! And what’s not to love about the most decadent coconut custard? Welcome to the growing golden (green) age of vegan feasting that is growing and growing in the city of vegan love. (Did I forget their amazing cocktails and happy hour menu? We will be back).
