Great food, small portions and dining room - Edit
We really enjoyed our dinner at Bar Bombon. Queso dip was great and the tacos were good and the tres leches cake was delicious. The portions were pretty small though and the dining room was super small. Tables were very close together and the noise from everyone speaking made it hard to have a conversation at our own table. I know small restaurants are common in the city but this felt especially uncomfortable.

Tasty - Edit
Really good. The dishes are small, tapas-style, so yes, as other people have noted, it’s on the pricier side in terms of portion. But it’s all really delicious, if a bit too spicy for our kids. I loved the BBB Club. Service was super friendly and helpful, even if it started out slow. Clean, well designed place. Would go again.

First all vegan Mexican restaurant I’ve been to- it was fabulous. The nachos were so good and so were the Philly cheesesteak empanadas. Portions are small, fyi. Drinks were fabulous- many flavors for the mojito.

SO GOOD. Definitely a must-try Philly vegan spot. The nachos are to die for, so are the margaritas. Awesome location in Rittenhouse Square, and food is 10/10 every time. Love this spot to introduce friends to vegan food

Favorite vegan spot for dinner in Philly! - Edit
This place is a must visit for anyone who hasn’t been. I usually go with a few friends and just order one of everything. The menu is always so damn good! Street corn is fantastic, drinks are always on point and the prices are reasonable.

The happy hour is 🔥🔥🔥 - Edit
I went with a friend and we went to their happy hour, he had a margarita, and we got the empanadas, nachos, and a salad with fajita chik’n. Came out to about $44 all together. All was amazing. There is a reason this place is a staple in Philly.

What a Treat! - Edit
I visited Bar Bombón in 2016 and it was fabulous. I brought my husband back there on 1 November 2021 and it was still fabulous. We sat at the bar. He had the salted grapefruit margarita and I had the classic margarita. Both were so delicious. We ordered the guac, the double cheeseburger, and the tres leches cake. We were very happy with all of them - very flavorful and just delicious. The staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was nice. I highly recommend this place!

Thoughtfully Made & High-End Puerto Rican Food. - Edit
If you live outside the U.S. and are reading this: Philadelphia is a wonderful city to visit & enjoy vegan food (it's a 1.5 hour bus ride from New York City).
Read moreWhen I lived in Philadelphia, ordering food from Bar Bombón was a treat, every time. The food offerings here are unique: a vegan version of the classic tres leches ("three milk") cake with toasted coconut; cauliflower tacos; peruvian yuca (cassava) with a cheese-like sauce & olives.
Since I ate food from this restaurant during the pandemic, I never dined inside the restaurant & cannot speak to that experience. But I enjoyed the food everytime I ordered for takeout, and I was willing to pay the 60-70 USD price tag (for 2 people) because of the high quality & one of a kind food.

beet margaritas!! - Edit
We had the chorizo burger, some kind of tacos, and the cheesesteak empanadas...everything was good but it was kind of disappointing that it seemed like it was all beyond meat(?). And the empanadas were only two to an order. The beet margarita made up for any mild disappointment though. Food came out SO fast too!

Wish I could eat those cauliflower tacos everyday! - Edit
Get the cauliflower tacos! These were hands-down the best buffalo cauliflower tacos I've ever had. the cauliflower was cooked perfectly- so crispy and not dripping in sauce or oil. My only regret is not ordering 10 of them. I also tried the Caesar salad, the dressing had a great flavor but was a bit watery. Drinks were great too! I got a mojito that was so delicious and refreshing after walking about the city all day.

Happy Hour - Edit
We wanted to go to HipCityVeg but they currently do not dine in. This place was directly next to it, and although the prices are high, the food was delicious. I would recommend going during their happy hour to take advantage of some of the cheaper food prices and drinks.
