Wide range of vegan options in this roomy classy vegetarian restaurant. All that we order was really, really good and tasty. Fair prices considering the quality of the dishes and the big servings. Only con is it's not located in the old quarter/town centre but not too far either, just a few tram stops away, in the lively University district. Don't miss it!

Sinceramente, he viajado mucho por el mundo y puedo decir que el Baobab es uno de los mejores que he probado. Precio muy comedido, servicio excelente y materia prima de excelente calidad.

Sin duda un restaurante para ir amenudo.
Soy vegano y tienes mas de la mitad de la carta vegana y el resto, en la mayoría de los platos, puedes cambiar el huevo o el queso por opcion.

Yesterday we stumble spontaneous about the Baobao Restaurante and it was wonderful!
Read moreFirst we started with a delicious natural juice - lemon, mint and ginger - than we chooses some starters and all of them where pretty good! The kitchen use to make new, creative recipes such as vegan dumplings with pulled jackfruit, Black sesame and an orange vinaigrette. Yum.
For the main course we had an vegan burger with a homemade black beer bun (I never had this before) and a beet root and soy pattie which was incredible “meaty” in colour and consistency. The roasted pumpkin and crispy tempeh salad was also really good.
The last dish we had was a vegetarian one - pumpkin ravioli with shiitake filling and a nice creamy sauce.
After that we were completely full but defiantly can’t get out without a dessert so I tried we vegan spicy mango soup with a lemon yoghurt sorbet and my parents had an dessert that was called - give me poison I wanna die - which included peanut mousse, chocolate and bananoffee and they loved it.
So it was all and all perfect, delicious food and nice interior and lovely waitress.
We‘ll come back soon!

If you are looking for a higher level on the quality of dish preparation/flavours, this is the best option in town. They have a menu. Bit pricey but good quality so is worthy

Good restaurant with delicious food. They have a lunch menu that changes every week. Lots of vegan options clearly labeled, with vegan desserts too. For dinners is pricey, it’s a better option going to have lunch.

Entre semana tienen menú y carta. Aunque todo es ovolácteovegetariano, tienen muchas opciones veganizables. Las croquetas (la opción vegana), muy jugosas. El menú que pedí (guisantes con puré de patatas y chalota caramelizada de primero, spaghetti aglio-e-olio con boniato y shiitake de segundo, y de postre plátano con choco y avellana) me encantó y dejó saciada.

Definitely is worthy to go during daily menu (Mon-Fri) there is several options which you can choose and almost every dish has vegan option. Very tasty. It's very nice restaurant with lot of tables but sometime is better to make reservation because it can be quite bussy.

Big but very busy, so good to book. Very good quality food, with vegan options also for vegetarian dishes (upon request). Original cuisine and not too pricy. Monthly lunch menu which changes every week.
