Visited with my husband for a Monday night treat.
Read moreWe started by ordering a couple of plates and ended up ordering more and more. We started with a couple of bao and also ended up trying the panko bao with aubergine, crispy noodles chips and tofu. And, of course, dessert!
The panko with aubergine was definitely a highlight - real smoky soft flavour with fluffy deep fried bao. The dessert bap was also amazing - they had a vegan special of chocolate ice cream, which was incredibly rich and not too sweet. The bao was more like a fried doughnut and the combined taste was amazing - if a little difficult to eat!
Make sure you book in advance. Although it was a Monday, the restaurant was full and were turning people away at the door.
