Great Bahn Mi - Edit
I find the previous reviews a bit exaggerating when they talk about how this is the best Bahn Mi. It's definitely really good but with reviews like that my expectations were too high. We went for the Mixed Bahn Mi which was filled with flavorful faux meat and fresh vegetables. Unfortunately it was a bit dry, if they would add more sauce it would taste way better!

Lived up to the hype - Edit
With such a great rating on Happy Cow, we had high expectations. It lived up to the hype for us as both bahn mi's we tried were great! We've had a few other vegan/vegetarian bahn mi's in non vegan places since but they haven't come close. The restaurant is in a family home so it is a little difficult to find with only a small sign at the start of a passage by the pavement that leads to their home so make sure you have Google maps to hand and your eyes peeled. It's worth the effort

The best Banh Mi - Edit
I really like the Bahn Mi number 1! I totally recommend going here even if you are far away, it’s worth it if you are in the mood for Banh Mi (they have other dishes as well).

Hidden gem. I had the noodle soup and the fried dumplings that they made fresh in front of me. Excellent taste. I definitely recommend it.

Unusual pho - Edit
I took Pho soup, which is quite unusual to take in place with such name. It was not a pho that I was expecting because it had so many strange ingredients ex. sth that looked almost like Curly crisps. The owner is very honest person, she chased us to give us back for the drink she overcharged.

This place is great. Very friendly and welcoming and you can tell they’re vegan for the animals and planet and not because it’s „in“
Read moreI love the atmosphere- basic and simple
The Pho was good flavour but consisted of 400g noodles approximately which I don’t like. The lady was so nice to give me more soup and veggies instead. The springrolls cost 20k for 3 pieces and have a good flavour: but please use hotter oil or less or let it drain because they are way to oily! I still give five stars but I hope they change something so they’re not covered in oil anymore in the future
The dipping sauce is top notch
Free water and even a sign which says you can always stop by to get free water to reduce plastic waste!
Pros: Vegan, Flavourful, Friendly
Cons: Very oily springrolls , Lots of noodles in pho

Delicious but tiny portion - Edit
After seeing the pictures here i am wondering if we were just unlucky..
Read moreWe ordered the fried dumpling and a mushroom banh mi. The flavour of everything was delicious but there was so little falling in the banh mi that some bites were only bread.
Seeing the pictures here though it seems like we were just unlucky as they look to be more filled.
Pros: Delicious , Authentic, Cheap
Cons: Small portion

Super cute and delicious - Edit
I really liked this place, it is very home-y, run by a family who really stands behind veganism for the animals, they also offer to fill up water bottles even if you don't order omething. The food was very delicious and freshly made!

Lovely friendly cafe with clear politics - Edit
We got noodles with spring rolls, steamed bun and pillow dumplings. Everything was really quick and tasted fresh. Free wifi and water inside as well as a nice story about the restaurant’s origin. Pillow dumpling is quite fried, bun had a variety of mushrooms inside, and noodles had a good amount of salad. Staff were really nice and the cafe is set back from the street making it a quite and relaxing place to eat.

Delicious food from a family run restaurant - Edit
The restaurant can be hard to find but fortunately a family member was advertising from the sidewalk out front of the alley. I ordered the a banh mi, a spring roll vermicelli dish and a bao bun for all less than 95 000 or $5 Canadian. I was hungry and most people would be happy with the banh mi which comes to $1.50 Canadian. The food was delicious, the family believes in the concept of veganism and makes everything from scratch. I would highly recommend this as a must stop in Hanoi.

nice snack - Edit
very cute little café in a small alley. quite an experience. I’m not a big fan of bread (says the german, lol) but I was very curious as the reviews are crazy good, so I ordered the sandwich anyway. It was good but nothing special tbh. my partner had mixed noodle soup and it was alright, too. portions are okay.
